Although this is my story, I strongly suggest that you try to read 20 to 30 chapters, and if you don't like it or you feel like you don't enjoy it, then this story is probably not to your taste and you are free to drop it as you like. Reading until the end of volume 1 is what I would normally suggest. However, not everyone could finish reading more than 100 chapters like the readers of LOTM just to see if the story is good or not.
