Because there's a higher ratio of male shinobi compared to female shinobi, hence when there's war expect a lot of widows.

Because of the shinobi thing, women outnumbered men in the village by quite a bit. So it wouldn't be too crazy to marry more than one person. Especially clan heads but for some reason, every major clan head has only had one wife.

Hello all. I finally have somewhat of a plan for how I want this story to end. It's still a work in progress though, as I've already scrapped a few ideas. There will be more action next chapter. Ayame getting attacked might be kind of random, so I'll explain my thought process. Basically, Kakuzu is always looking for bounties to collect, and he just so happens to see that there's a new bounty to collect in Konoha. Which happens to be Kaen's bounty. That's my reason for Kakuzu being in the Land of Fire. Hidan was somewhere nearby, but with Kakuzu's personality, I can't imagine that they spend all their time together. I just wanted to add it so Kaen would have more reason to hunt down the Akatsuki and change canon some more. That's pretty much it. Leave a review!

At that point, that's so much filler even if you count out a few of the dates. Harems, just don't mesh out well if you don't plan it throughly unless you're more in for the fanservice rather than the story.

Probably not a common surname, but they don't know that shin is the progeny of adam and eve hence they're grasping for the slight connection. ( I don't remember if his parents changed their surname, but even then, they only know them by their original surname as they've gone into hiding since.)
