Webnovel Author: MountTaiUnleashed - Fanfic&Novel Collection

I liked this novel so much that I read through the mtl and thats a first because I absolutely hate mtl. What I like about this novel is how the author grows his characters throughout the story. They experience all sorts of strife and grow from the turmoil. There's also how the author builds the mythology of cultivation defining new levels and exploring the dao which was quite enthralling. I'm quite happy with how it ended too as it didn't feel rushed.

This novel is a lie, the main character ain't Lu Changsheng, it's Ye Qiubai. Everyone including the supposed main character Lu changsheng is a side character with ye qiubai taking up most if not all the screentime.

All negative reviews have been hidden including mine, I wondered why there was not a single review below four stars as you always get those people who give bad reviews for no reason but seriously, this author has no backbone at all. Thumbs down author, you suck.

I'm sorry but nobody normal would brush off slaughtering 3 people at the start like it's nothing, only a psychopath would. There's no attempt at the kind of inner turmoil one would get from murder or becoming a blodd sucking vampire. There's also no fury at the woman who turned him into a monster, just happy go lucky ignorance. For me that doesn't immerse me into the story, though the murder hobo's you find on this website will give it a pass.

The author is a good writer for sure but he's also crap at the same time. He focuses too much on the details, so much so that the novel moves at a snail's pace and that is certainly something you don't want in a kingdom building novel. We don't need to know the exact details about making soap, making paper or construction and how the various materials are mixed together to form cement. We don't need to know the exact ins and outs of all his various projects like who is in charge of what and how are the workers settled, their proficiency etc.. it's goddamn mundane..We don't need exact details on how much everythig costs.. We don't fricken need to know everything. All of this is unnecessary bloat and it's bad storytelling. What the author needs to do is to prioritize and summarize, and by that I mean prioritize important things to the story and plot in detail, for example; some perpectives from the surrounding nobles and what they're doing to push the plot like sending forth armies and scheming, how the MC's miraculous inventions and policies are effecting the populace with some of their perspectives instead of just puking out excessive boring descriptions which could just be easily summarized in a couple paragraphs. Utilize more timeskips as 390 chapters in, only about 3 months give or take have passed since the start of the novel. That's really bad. To explain, this is like writing 5 books of harry potter but only moving the story to about half of the first book. You wouldn't be able to sell this webnovel as a book series because you'd have several books where nothing of substance is happening. And lastly, there is too much sex. From what I've read in 390 chapters, there have been either 30 or more chapters of sex content, that is an entire light novel there. For a novel like this, 2-3 chapters every 100 would be enough, and I'd like to make a comparison here. Road to kingdom is a full on porn novel and it has more things happening than this novel which seems so bogged down, that's quite telling right there.

A decent time waster until chapter 353 when it completely copies the shit out of 'the most generous master ever', from that point on it's garbage that the FBI forces terrorists to read as a form of torture.

I read up to there too and then I noticed the problem, what the fuck? Have I read this before and then you mentioned the most generous master.. This novel just turned into trash.
