Raizel - Profile

The story starts as a high martial arts story but takes an about turn into low xianxia fantasy with no rhyme or reason. The plot is pretty much non existent and the cultivation levels of the characters are all over the place. It is shown that the MC is pretty much a never before seen genius by becoming a half step grandmaster at his age but in just 5-10 chapters every one of his generation he meets are grandmasters. Pretty nonsensical. Changing the MC name to Victor is also a stupid decision. It sounds awkward when everyone has Chinese names and only he has a western name. Overall skip this trash and save yourself some time.

The writing is very inconsistent. The author keeps changing values every chapter. There is nothing compelling about the story either. It is filled with badly executed cliches. The MC is boring. He has the character of every Xianxia protagonist ever mixed and averaged.

Probably the best fanfic on the entire website and definitely the best in ATG section. The MC actually has a personality and maintains good relationships with most people. He is decisive when taking action and has no problem being ruthless to himself while cultivating. Instead of an average or below average person gaining an OP power, here we have an exceptional MC paired with a well thought out system. The MC actually makes progress by himself instead of completely depending on the cheat. The romance is well developed instead of being rushed. I also love that many powers he receives are based upon ED.
