Well we have no way to know that for sure, most of the worlds money is concentrated amongst the celestial dragons so they can buy them whenever they are sold. They feed them to slaves often and what happens when the slaves die? A good portion of those fruits will reappear back on mariejois. If the WG was smart they would keep a bunch of normal fruits about for this purpose
