This is one of the few novels where the MC is really likeable, kind, compassionate and not a murdering maniac. He actually respects, loves and treats his pets as family. Although the story can get a little long winded when it comes to explanations, its worth it to read it despite this just for the amazing MC.

This is one of the few novels which I really like since the protagonist is not one of those people who just kill and hit people indiscriminately. Even when he defeats other people, he ends up maki f friends with then, which is unusual.

This is one of the few QT novels where I was able to sit through nearly 4000 chapters and still be excited for the FL's next world. It's that well written. The plot is well paced, exciting and not boring for even a minute and also a feast for any feminist bored with QT FL's who always go through worlds hugging an all powerful ML's thigh all the time. She is extremely independent and she also has very good relationships with other people throughout her travels. There are even worlds where the ML is left alone so that she can do her job. The level of satisfaction you get after the FL is done with her enemies is unprecedented! All in all this is an amazing novel and I hope it gets picked up!!

....spoiler alert... the ex's dad is actually his older half brother so there isn't that much of an age difference either. the ML adopted the ex out of revenge on the stepmom. this is just the first world really and the FL and ML don't actually get together properly.
