To what extent, Ves didn't know. He already knew that the Milky Way Galaxy and the Andromeda Galaxy were set to collide with each other in 4.5 billion years, but perhaps that was a natural part of their life cycles.

The battle against the Titania only yielded the Golden Skull Alliance a little over 4 kilograms of phasewater.

The flash of luminance occurred too quickly for anyone to have noticed the anomaly. Even the monitoring system that Ves had specifically programmed to keep close watch on his girl only thought it was an ordinary visual glitch.

"Well, our clan isn't exactly swelling with powerful expert pilots." Joshua said. "The most promising one among us is Venerable Stark. She's older and much further ahead than us. Ever since she obtained her masterwork expert mech, her resonance strength has been surging by a lot. She's measuring at 27 laveres last I checked."

"A peak advanced mech pilot with a resonance strength of 0.00001 laveres is vastly more dangerous than any other advanced mech pilot. It's not out of the question for them to defeat five or ten mech pilots by themselves."

"I see." Silas's brows relaxed. "I guess I'm still too inexperienced. Anyway, take a look at this."

Villin grinned, with all four of them working together the result was incredible, the vines ruse up to five meters, those ensnared were also no longer on ground level as they were stuck three meters up into the air. Even if they managed to get loose from the vines, they would have to be careful with the fall.

There were several wooden containers that had moss growing on the outside, however, the inside seemed to be filled with water. He scooped it with his left hand, smelled it before taking a sip, and then within an instant, it quenched whatever thirst he had. Sitting on another side of the room were more than a dozen leather sacks, and when he opened it, a pile of triangular leaf packages lay inside. Emery grabbed one and after he had unpacked it, the content appeared to be some sort of bread. Again, he sniffed it but Emery's brows twitched. It smelled nothing.

On that same night, hundreds of thracian warriors from several villages and tribes gathered to form a Roman escort. Before leaving, Thrax gave a bracelet to Sura fashioned from the bones of animals he had hunted while Sura gave Thrax a shield she had the forge made. These two had already received the blessing to be married, however, the ritual had to be delayed due to the upcoming war. That didn't matter to Thrax though as he considered this girl already his wife. Thrax picked up his spear and Sura's shield, ready to go to war.

It had been a few days since Emery had been thinking about what to do once he returned to Britain. He didn't have a home to call anymore and only seven days had passed after he had been transported to this magical place. It still was highly possible those marauders who had burned his house and murdered his father might get wind of his return and that'd mean he'd be in danger once again; even though it was true he had better physique than before, he knew he didn't have the capability to fight or maybe outrun them again.

Emery turned his attention back to his orc, who once again felt like an insurmountable giant in his mind. When he tried to get up, Emery felt a smooth rock on the ground. An idea then popped in his mind, it was an old story passed from generations to generations of how a little boy had managed to defeat a man, whom others had feared as an undefeatable warrior. He grabbed the stone tightly in his hairy, claw-like fist, took a deep breath before throwing it with all his might.

She was not fond of killing people, so she wanted to hear what this little mercenary had to say to save himself. One's struggle at the brink of death often made for the most entertaining show, and it might be able to cure her boredom for a short while. She did not care that these people were as good as formless ash in front of her and was willing to give her time to listen, just like how humans studied other animals.

It was a familiar dynamic and one that worked like a charm. The swordmaster and the gem cat continually mowed over one alien after another with their deadly talents.
