Until this chapter, the conversations and characters feel as if they don't have emotions or soul, just mechanical dialogue, but it remains readable; I hope it improves in the upcoming chapters.

Sometimes it is much better, because this way it is easier to accept the powers that the main character will have when they can choose anything but choose mediocrely.
