Not bad in terms of future development, as the author left themselves room to expand into his past life and tie it on to his present one. What I find jarring are the conversations, the speech of the main character Delta doesn't resemble a mercenary because he is somewhat vain when speaking. Even if the author writes how he is 'cautious' in his movements, he is quite ignorant overall to his situation: but somehow acts like is fully aware of his situation, which makes him seem arrogant and quite foolish(considering he was betrayed in his past life). This is why the rating is not too high but average.

Most readers critiques fall under the evaluation of quality, just like yours. Most people felt that the quality of the characters and worldbuilding was not well thought out.
