Design spirit: Natural  Type: Dead Alien Name: pythoness of past whispers  It is a shriveled old hand of an alien that has eyes all over it with 4 lengthy fingers with long nails and grayish skin speckled with black freckles. It was served at the wrist and the hand is all that remains. The hand belonged to an evil witch with an infatuation for knowledge and so as the evil witch grew in power she developed the ability to peer into the past of people and objects she touches at the cost of losing lifeforce and spiritual energy, the further back and the stronger the being (spiritual wise) she tried to see the past of the more expensive the price to pay for her to use it. When used on a mech the pilot can get moments of deja vu in which they may experience the presence of the past pilots of the mech like for instance you're about to be hit in your blind spot but the pilot gets a subconsciously feeling to shift the position of there sword in an odd maneuver to counter it almost like an instance of possession or a great urge. This is a rare occurrence, but fortunate one for the current pilot of the mech as they may gain inspiration or excelled growth as a mech pilot. -Intelligence 0/10 All that remains of the witch is the hand which doesn't have any thoughts other than eating spiritual energy to regenerate itself and replenish its spiritual energy. Though because it has a weak sense of sapience it's easy for Ves to control its ability, but to use it to see the past he has to sacrifice spiritual energy and if he doesn't offer a good enough amount the hand will start eating Ves own lifeforce, so he has to be careful. Ves also has to do checkups on the hand to make sure it's not developing consciousness as it could pose a threat to him if it does. -Adaptability 2/10 The adaptability of the ability will show in how the young talents use the moments of instinctual guidance to progress their abilities in those brief moments most of the average mech pilots will let the opportunity go while the talents of the clan will use those moments to gain inspiration and speed up their development as pilots.  -Ability diversity 3/10 The ability is pretty straight up, but it can be used to speed up the training of mech pilots over time and bring fortunate encounters to them. I also thought it could bring meaning to old mechs that aren't being field used in the Larkenson clan anymore. The hand itself outside of the mech can be used to help Ves understand the greater meaning of objects and extinct beings as a valuable tool. -Ability power 5/10 The ability is pretty powerful, it will have both a passive and an active effect in the story with Ves using it to peer into the past of objects and beings, at the cost of having to sacrifice lots of spiritual energy so the active use will be used scarily, but provide beneficial new opportunities for Ves to grow his knowledge. While the passive effect on mechs will allow growth opportunities to the mech pilots over time it is not a frequent ability and it will mostly help the young talents of the clan mature faster.
