The sad things is... He's not totally wrong.

"The strong will always eat the weak!" Akron growled. "This has always been the truth of the world! If we do not become strong and become lackeys of the Un An... One day, I guarantee... one day... The Un An will eat us! And the glorious history and culture of the Isles will be gone... FOREVER!"

Can't argue with an edgelord. anyone who's not ruthless, coldhearted and ready to stab an ally in the back are idiots to then.

Commander Ford left the Council Chambers feeling drained. The shameless of the two Fleet Masters had left him flabbergasted despite having some inking of their plots. Yet, he could not turn a blind eye to the real plague that will befall the common people in the next five hours.

Ehh No, calm down edgelord.

"At the cost of our morals and duty?" Commander Ford shook his head. "If we do that, it would pull us down to her level..."

"what if their are civilians inside" That right there, is your Issue. Ford actually cares about the civilians and innocents, and he's a better character for it.

Commander Ford sighed as he gestured out of the window to the city. "We can't ignore the people here... They have nothing to stop an aerial attack..."

XD they built a Sub. Wow.

A large barrel sized tube slowly retracted away from the waves and disappeared into the dark ocean, unnoticed by the Cartel flying fleet. A massive shadow slowly moved forward underneath the waves propelled by several trails of bubbles. The massive oblong shape moved away from the departing Cartel flying fleet as it headed towards the island where the Cartel had first settled in.

BURN THE DWARVES TO THE GROUND!

"Fire the noisemakers!" Grand Lord Hammerfall bellowed at his men manning the steam cannons. He was not wearing his golden armour and was instead stripped half naked like the rest of the excited crew. The order was passed and loud pops of compressed steam erupted from the half dozen steam cannons aimed downwards at the pod of island whales, each spitting out a stubby barrel like projectile out and smashing into the ocean.

Ouch, Cold. Though I guess, understandable. When you're on the run, Prisoners aren't the smartest choice.

Blue Thunder growled and he suddenly snapped his jaws forward, gripping the wounded dragon by its neck and breaking it. Once the deed was done, he slumped on his hindquarters and let out a loud groan. "Ow... I am bleeding..."

Its attuning to the FIREPOWER!

"We do not know, sir!" The mage techs replied in a panicked tone. "It was fine all the way and just then, and suddenly it started giving off high magical readings!"

"Alright..." Stamford laughed again at the sight of Blue Thunder's wounded expression. "Take this as a vacation than and recharge yourself. Once we return, you gonna be a full time daddy again!"

It probably IS the "infinite" mana they are talking about.

It chose a few champions to stand against the invaders, and one of these champions was given a privilege that most knowledgeable beings in the universe would be shocked to hear

They have no idea WHY more dungeons appeared.

The consensus seemed to be that destroying dungeons completely was good, but it was to be regulated. They were horrific designs that brought them much death and pain, but they also allowed for more people to grow stronger when they were repeatedly cleared. Some would be destroyed, while others that can be comfortably cleared would be left behind.

It not for him.

Half of these rings would be filled with food and daily necessities as I was planning to leave the city, roam the Barrens, and give aid to any other existing cities while going towards the monster horde heading towards us. Specialized hunters from the Empire would be doing this within the next few days, but I would move out first. This responsibility did not feel that heavy on me, as the strength I had more than made up for it. I knew that my [Focus] was blank for a reason, and it wasn't to waste it away just clearing dungeons in cities and being entertained.

Shuuuu, the Edgelords are trying to look cool and cynical. Can't expect them to understand real people.

She looked forward at the sight of hunters hugging one another and said, "I have watched countless people die before me as I was forced to keep on going into these dungeons day in and day out. I felt like I would go crazy if I had to keep on doing this for the years to come. The only way I could cope without breaking down was to put on a happy face and keep on going"

Because he's a Edgelord trying to be Edgy. Its in their nature.

"You didn't expect to see me cry so soon?" She was wiping away the tears that kept on falling as she continued, "I don't know if you understand the full significance of what we are doing, but for many of us, it is liberation"

So many Edgelords here, hahahahaha!

His body bulged out as let out a howl and the pillar of flames surrounding him was dispersed and he once more seriously attacked the man in front of him. His attacks continued as Noah deflected or absorbed them and continued talking "Strength does not mean you can look down and others. Strength does not mean you can do whatever you want. You can even look at it as a responsibility. It's the reason I came along to this high-risk dungeon that can explode any day."
