Great if its not Sofia, then its eventually going to be. So if he chose Katarina his choice doesn't matter. It also mean Katarina is more likely to die or disappear.

Okay I like where this is going. How does he plan on reconciling the fact that Sofia doesn't want to be number 2. I dont think Katarina cares as much but Sofia definitely does. Hopefully he has a great speech planned for Sofia .

It would be better if the two of them ally with his organization in order keep in check the other 4 powers. All of them are heroes from the same era whereas everybody else was either too young or cowardly to actually help humanity, before the alien invasion I mean.

It is because of that fact that Death Monarch reign supreme right now in the world. Unless the World Government and the Republic really don't mind a full falling out with him, they would at least show him respect and will never directly contradicted his suggestion in front of the world.

I dont think thats true at all. I think he would slaughter all of them except Boris and only because he is Katarain's brother. Everyone else would die very quickly.

Truth be told if the World Government and the Republic truly united, they could truly force Death Monarch to retreat and even capture him and if they truly put their mind to it even killed him

Nope because Azief can control time too, though not as well as Jean. However, can also control like 9 other fundamental forces of the universe, life,death,creation,destruction,elements,destiny,fate,order,and chaos.

And his power might be more terrifying than Death Monarch.

Another even that completely throws Erika and Loki's perceived future out of whack. I genuinely think Azief does like all those people except Raymond but that is only because he likes Sofia.

There is Death Monarch, Raymond, Katarina, Oreki, Hikigaya and Divine Archer that appeared and help Death Monarch to avert the calamity of thunder.

The last two times he left was because somebody/something forced him to leave. Never once has he left of his own free will so I dont understand why everyone is so sure he will leave. Obviously he is going to leave because we need conflict and there is nobody on this planet that can give Death Monarch a decent fight.

If Pandemonium enter in to the fray, considering that Death Monarch is about to leave, the most dangerous thing that could happen is for the Death Monarch to be thinking that the World Government would probably be a thorn when he is gone.

Whats Obsidian doing? Is there a weakness to these monsters? What level are these monsters even at? It seems like the normal ones are at advanced stage but is immune to most advanced stage spells. Whereas the one they just killed is at the ancestral realm and immune to most ancestral spells. There has to be a catch for making these things, like maybe alchemic products in general have some kind of weakness to a certain type of magic. Other than the side effects they give the person using them which is also considered a weakness of potions/pills. Maybe Time magic because it can revert a body to the state it was before taking the pill/potion. Or poison because it can counteract the potion with a poison. Or else whatever the potion or pill that creates these monsters would be world shattering. After this people will but this thing in troves and just feed it to their cannon fodder soldiers. Midnight syndicate wont need to worry about being destroyed because the government wont let them be destroyed as long as they can keep creating whatever makes these monsters.

I think its more like there weapons are OP and the only thing that you guys have that can easily hurt these monsters.

Triumphantly, they returned to me as Gu Yuan, Ke Tian, and Ye Xiao Xing watched on in wonder. Two mere high school girls had just defeated a monstrous opponent even the three of them together couldn't leave a scratch on. I was also shocked by how strong they have gotten.
