This novel has been revised into another version. The MC age to start his plans will still be the same, but everything else like how the system works is different. Your point about Calia is heard, I didn’t really think much of it. When I first wrote about it, it was made with the idea of making connections of why Calia was so opposed against King Terenas marriage arrangements when she got older. Because she already had feelings about someone she never forgot about since childhood. But thank you for the feedback, the next revised novel is less about romance, it’s more kingdom building type. Still learning how to make things natural as I go, I’m a new writer so any feedback you provide will help a lot.

Yeah I’m the original writer of this fanfiction. I personally think that Arthas’s ending in shadowlands is a major letdown. He was a ground-breaking character in Warcraft, that deserved better. At least redemption or another reappearance in shadowlands, but no it only just took advantage of his notoriety.

NEW UPDATE:! I revised the system status, so what I said before about their mana not increasing. That is no longer the case, it’ll increase based on the unit’s level. The level system will be the same as the Warcraft 3 Leveling system. I’ve also added (Potential) which is about how far they can level up to. That’s all that has changed for now.

Once Arthas gets older I’ll start a vote for everyone cast, for who his love interest will be. For his personality, it would be similar to that an anti-hero, he still remains sympathetic and obligated to care for his people. He is a man who’ll do whatever it takes to achieve his goals, even if it appears extreme. And about his mana, training in arcane magic or of the sort will only decrease the mana consumption of his skills. Or boosts its power. But if you’re worried that he can’t utilize his skills due to his mana capacity, he’ll plan to use mana options brewed by alchemists to refill them in the future. It’ll cost time and resources to reach that point, which adds to his growing development of his territory.

Don’t worry I already have a format in mind for the building feature of the system. It won’t pop out of nowhere, it’s more like a blueprint for his subjects to build and the effects it has will be magical but not overpowered. But I like the idea you have of implementing other races’s or kingdoms technology. I’ll try to incorporate that into it’s function somehow. … For how to deal with the scourge, I’m still thinking about that. Since Arthas is possessed by another soul the events that’ll happen in the future won’t be the same, but similar scenarios will occur. Biggest dilemna I’m in right now is how he’ll make his first encounter with the scourge in the most logical way possible. If you have any more ideas about that I would love to see them. Or just any idea in general. … About the topic of him learning magic, I just have the idea of implenting the same power like in the Warcraft Domination, learning skills from his heroes. But not through skill points, but perhaps through quests with conditions. When he’s under their tutelage. The heroes won’t magically pop up either, once they have been summoned they will ‘coincidentally’ arrive to his base with a background of who they are and where they came from. If you want to see an example of how that works, check out Global Lord: 100% Drop Rate when people with unique backgrounds arrive at the MC’s doorstep. So it’ll be something similar to that.
