NightWalkerWolfGod: 71 chapters in an I still do not see the MC being carefree as the summary says.
MC is brutal, dragged into the xianxia type of kill or be killed. The part about him quietly tending his farm is actually a lie - he sneaks out and kills his enemies, and then heads back. I was expecting more carefree and his opponents not being able to do a thing to him while he peacefully farms, or needs to defeat his enemies only when trouble arrives with a snap of his hand. The dreams aren't actually told, just mentioned at a glance.
Characters are a joke, MC is barely ok based on what he does, but everyone else has a scheming third villain type of personality. What a joke. The ferret and the eagle has a better personality than the enemies.

The 30 chpts in the beginning is ok. There was potential. Spiritual knights sound interesting, but 70 chapters in, MC is letting me down.

At a certain chapter, it is briefly mentioned a particular alchemist refuses to help sects because he is carefree and could care less about the world. I think the real MC is actually that alchemist and not the current MC since this MC is being a petty typical xianxia MC that aims to kill everyone who threatens him and not a carefree one like the summary described. Seriously, if someone thought you were dead and you escaped, why bother going back to kill the guy if he never put you in his eyes, nor will he attempt to find you since you aren't related to a sect and live in a secluded valley?

The other thing that bothered me is how the MC would go through a dead body and search through it - blood and guts because he found a treasure inside the guy and not on his bag/loot. I'm hoping I really read that wrong since MC is not being an ideal character to represent a carefree path in the world of dreams.

A good, different story compared to others on this site. A story with minimum to no fights, especially in a site like this is truly unique. The plot sometimes tend to go a bit cookie cutter but still an enjoyable read, due to its characters. MC is not interested in immortality (well not directly Anway, just side bonus). But simply earns for a happily married life. More than anything MC has morals unlike the other novel protagonists, who maintain double standards depending upon their target's gender. If the reader is okay with the preachy side of this novel, then this is a good read. View More

Dragon_God123: Why the **** does author waste chapters on this bull****. There are better things to discover and explore like the knowledge endorians wanted or the mother stream or the other existences like mother stream etc

Not bad. For once author did not throw a ton of (Buddhist)exposition in a philosophical chapter. View More

Zelsa: I have to say, this novel is a big disappointment. Story and plot elements being throne in left and right. Characters that are supposed to be important getting little to no proper development before simply appearing. Plots and schemes that when looked in-depth make very little sense. This war makes no sense. I have to ask a legitimate question, if someone were to read this arc from the moment he arrived in this world could they convincingly argue the coherency of this story, the characters, the world, the motivation? Like real objective based argument not subjective likes or dislikes, legitmate review, or comment on this arc. Cause, in my opinion, the author has literally no idea what there doing. This entire narrative is disjointed ,plot elements are incoherent despite the authors attempts to make them so. Character motivations are vague and barely described, instead the author writes long winded exposition to explain why or how anything happens. Not really bothering to maintain continuity of there story or show why or how this makes sense. We're just told to accept the explanation as true whether it's make sense or not. I'll stop here. There is so much nonsense in this arc I could write a 3-5 page essay just explaining it. I've never read a novel in my life that has a character or story so derailed before, its baffling. It's like the final season of game of thrones so much detail, lore, characters , so much story simply ruined do to poor pacing, planning, and simple lack of understanding in regards to storytelling. This is a story believe it or not and I don't think the author knows that.

I just realized it. Garen is the loose canon in this story. He completely disrupts what was supposed to happen. In way he is the villain of the story. View More

If not the sporadic release rate, this novel would probably in top 10 of this site. It is original, has none of the usual cliches (except for mc surviving all time, which is necessary because, you know... since he is the mc).
But the release rate is killing the interest. View More
