    'Jiang' Magic Coin

    History

COMPLETED It is a pity that among the many short stories, there is not a single one about the Silk Road. It deserves to have at least one story about its. Thanks to this road, many countries learned new technologies, gained new knowledge about cooking and medicine, and cultural exchanges were taking place. Materials on the history of the Silk Road is a huge treasure trove of knowledge! I wanted to write a short story about this path, about the people of that time, alas, my English grammar is not so good. This story is the first attempt at writing. The story itself begins 10 centuries after the opening of the Silk Road. In the time of Sir Pei Ju. The action will be divided into three epochs - the period of the end of the Sui dynasty and the beginning of the Tang dynasty. Industrial and Informational era of modern history. In each era, its main character. Perhaps they will be somehow connected. The main idea is the “Jiang” coin with magical properties, which gives a person super ability, though for a short time. This story has a place for intrigues, clan wars, conflicts, strategies and wonderful finds. --------------------------------------------------------- This is a work of art. Any resemblance to real people or real events is purely coincidental.

COMPLETED The Silk Road ... it is inevitable the emergence of wells, caravanserais, guard fortresses, postal stations, local bazaars, regional bazaars, the emergence of new jobs: - robbers (there were whole settlements) - caravan guards - changed - merchants Just about them and will be discussed. About their life, tricks. Alas, English is still the same ... there are mistakes, I am sure of it. I hope over time I will be able to fix them. I just wanted to share information about such an interesting topic as the history of the development of the Silk Road. ---- And also a series of stories about treasures, treasure hunters. -------------------------------- This is a work of art. Magic Farmer Dara - 2nd Edition

Realistic Fiction Adventure Magic History Trade Farm

    4.4

The second version. Agriculture is a very interesting activity. Like the sale of products. Not to mention the cooking, healing cooking. The development of tourism. All this will be in this novel. Perhaps the continuation of the first novel, but not a fact. What is the story about? The story of a graduate student who decided to become a farmer. He sold his apartment and started to run his business with the money he received. Farm, online shop, farm shop. Decided to sell organic food. Who is this guy? Former student of the Faculty of History. His relatives are historians and artisans, scientists. Great-grandfather Farmer. Grandfather - oriental sweets manufacturer. His ancestor ... Dara is the hero of another novel "'Jiang' Magic Coin" ... What happens to him? He finds magic coins that have already become a magic entity, he has an all-powerful system. The main character does not immediately use it ... Why should I care? It is interesting. But not at once. Not from the first pages, there is interesting historical information, there is an understanding of everyday life, traditions, oriental subtleties of doing business. Almost reality but in a fantastic wrapper. Pros - good content, many different historical facts about the Silk Road, Eastern Trade, Household reflections on politics and economics, there are interesting ideas for organizing your own business in tourism and farming. Cons - bad form, that is, the text of the novel is rough, grammar and syntax is lame. There are mistakes. Overall assessment of the story if to be objective: Writing Quality - 2 stars Stability of Updates - 4 stars (3-4 times per week from 500 to 3000 words for one chapter) Story Development - 4 stars Character Design - 3 stars World Background - 3 stars Overall result: Who wants to learn new things about farming and about the world after the Cold War, who is interested in the first place content, can be sure that he/she will not waste his/her time in vain. Whoever likes the good form of the syllable, he/she can immediately leave, having pulled his hat, striking his/her horse sideways with spurs, plunge into the depths of the prairie. I read 30 chapters! The novel is interesting! Not easy! The character lives in two worlds! Dialogues are well written in the story! The world is described fascinatingly, creatively! The character of the character, I still do not understand until the end, but here you just need to read on! There is humor in the novel, there are also some deeper thoughts!

I want to wish the author to be more attentive to details, if in doubt, specify, check. But this does not affect the general text block of the novel, it is really interesting, fascinating and intriguing!

As an author, I could learn from this novel how to compose such interesting and lively dialogues! Bravo, author, thank you for such an interesting story!

No wonder I included it in my library! I will read it slowly! Thanks for the wonderful written story!

Interestingly, I left two very good 4 star reviews, but they were deleted. Well, anything can happen, someone wants only 5 stars. Honesty is not always welcome! But well done, if you ask, an honest review! You can grow as an author, as you require an objective assessment and not a glass of syrup! Respect! View More

MihVic: I went in with low expectations after reading the title, but soon enough found myself enjoying the story. The writing and thought to detail are very good in my opinion and deserve a five-star review. There aren't that many things to complain about so I can only say, Good job mate.

The story is not ordinary, at the first reading, it seems that this is a banal story, but in fact it is not.

The world is rich, the story is rich, fascinating, even more intriguing.

The character is very unusual. If you want to know more, you need to read further!

Thanks to the author for writing his amazing novel, I learned a lot from him in the formation of the plot!

Synopsis is not unambiguous, but attracts the attention of readers.
The text block is written interestingly, beautiful descriptions of the world, as if you see it in a movie.

Romance and immediately impending horror, tragedy, carnage, the past does not let the character go. Some kind of special style, knights, magicians and a super hero.

If the first three chapters somewhat aroused boredom, then the fourth chapter more than paid for the time spent. The story seems more fascinating and exciting than it seemed after reading the previous chapters.

Undoubtedly it should be included in the library. Those who love the genre of adventure and science fiction.

Well-written dialogue, there is humor, which is quite appropriate! View More

This is a spin-off, the main story is the Magic Farmer Dara.
I know that as an author, I lose sight of the emotional experiences of the character. But as an author, I’m interested in telling what the character thinks.

The reviewer is right that the beginning is very long, the story should be more dynamic, active, does it mean that you need to rewrite the first 2 chapters?

So, still less details and more history, you will have to rewrite the first chapters, but this will only be in 14 days, since I will not have time to rewrite the chapters and make the stated updates of 2 chapters a day for the first 2 weeks.

Learning to write is difficult, but we are following the path of enlightenment, so that nothing else remains as we study.

Cultivation is indisputable! You're right bro! The path of DAO is unlimited in its comprehension of the ways to achieve it!

Mutually and thank you for such a magnificent and honest review!

Jin_Daoas: While the breadth of history unfolding in the chapters is breathtaking, it gets a little confusing trying to keep track of the connections. The first chapter could be summed up as: ShirAli was Dara's cousin. When he was four he was a reckless prodigy, cultured, with a prominent family. Alas for fortune, tragedy struck when he was eight and he lost much but gained focus as well as maturity. This admirable personage, who started out at Dara's cafe, leveraged his cultured palate to growing a business in food. Then one day, he ate a wonderful fruit and gained the ability to travel into the past.

There is no need for extraneous data. The second chapter is the start of the first chapter slightly stretched by added detail. The relevant data is the same as summed up above.

This style of writing, introducing the characters like a slow brew and savoring their histories in a single long swallow, is something that can be interesting. There are a number of historical fiction books written in a similar style.

But the initial chapters, I could not get into the narration.

The accent of the narrative voice is exotic, and promises something one has never seen before. It has great potential. When I read it, I want to read more, but my interest is always thwarted. I had to focus just to get through to the tenth chapter.

The problem is that the story is stuffing too much worldbuilding down the readers' throats. Comrade author, this is my problem too. I get too much into the details and too little into the story.

Background data is like caviar. It is never meant to be the main part of the meal, but a garnish. To make the guests gulp down caviar like it is cheap jam, how will they want to respect it?

But we are daoists, aren't we? We churn out what we churn out and mill everything into something that can be cultivated.

Never give up, comrade author, and I hope one day to see us both climbing the paths to the immortal realms.

Thanks for the honest review. I am a fan of history, a lot of materials. therefore it turns out as a historical fiction about history, the reader as a person behind the scenes and not a person in the frame. But I think to the deployment of the plot, I will try to take into account your wishes. Thanks! View More

Mellize: That surely was a fantastic read! Very detailed and informative that you expressed your ideas very well. However, I feel that the tone in the story has less emotional impact and it feels like very distant (like instead of imagining myself in the protagonist's shoes, it feels more like I'm watching him from afar.)

Besides that, this has lots of potential and is quite a promising story. Keep up the good work, author!
