Pretty sure the final pairing is gonna be Leah and Rosalie at this point, a lot of it has to do with the fact that Leah was first and Ryan isn't willing to just drop her, but he also realizes what Rosalie's "mate bond" means exactly so he's not willing to destroy her like that either. It's one thing to turn down someone who loves you, it's another entirely when that person is supernaturally enforced to love you and will always feel that same depth for the rest of time. I think the bit with Jessica was there to highlight to Ryan that everyone around him was alive and mattered, that he wasn't some player in a video game full of NPCs.

Exactly my thoughts. Either Crocodile is some sort of special kind of idiot, or the author is dedicated to going down this path even if it makes no sense. Sending someone not even AWARE of Haki, against someone proficient with it? Honestly, if he wanted Robin dead that badly, he may as well have just done it himself. The only reason Robin is gonna come alive out of this is because of Yoriichi's personality and plot xD

I'm surprised they have the guts to try... The only people marked at beyond 1 billion for comparison are either the four sea emperors, or their vice-captains. That's basically suicide.

But even then in that building, nobody gonna take him for an easy target because they heard from their boss that their target had a Huge bounty of 1.1 billion issued by the world government which is very huge amount for anyone here

It's a good question. There's a chance that Shakky or Rayleigh is simply incapable? Living their sort of life, an injury could very easily cause that. Or it could also be that they don't want to risk a child's safety in their circumstances... Or maybe they just didn't want one?

This time not only yoriichi but shakky and Rayleigh were a little down because they also got attached to yoriichi during these years and it's obvious since who wouldn't like an obedient and kind child

Yep. It'd be kinda like translating Yuujiro Hanma's potential to different verses. If you scale it in comparison to how strong their verse is and how strong they became, how badly they broke the scale... Well, just imagine Yuujiro born as a Saiyan xD

Makes sense, but it also probably depends on the Celestial Dragon's mood. It also happened in a chaotic time, Marejois got raided and slaves got freed, so the Celestial Dragons probably wanted retribution on everyone involved.

Otohime was literally BORN with awakened observation Haki. Yoriichi was born with the "mark" in his verse and instinctively knew how to use a sword the first time he used one at the age of 7 he beat his instructor black and blue. Prodigies exist in all anime, usually they're not the protagonist, but that's irrelevant here.

Yoriichi on the other hand unsheathed his sword as the shining blade revealed but very soon that shining blade started to become darker in his hand

It honestly doesn't matter. If I remember correctly the Hancock sisters were marked as slaves, I'm assuming Yoriichi wasn't yet because he was JUST sold, but even then helping them escape was a capital crime to begin with. What are they gonna do? Kill him twice?
