Cupid had a sick way of destroying Heroines by recording himself breaking them, and spreading it over the internet. The few that managed to escape on their own quit being Heroes, and ended up committing suicide because of the shame the public made them feel. There wasn't a place they could go to get away from the prying eyes of people that had seen their shameful expressions while under his influence.
