I keep getting the ad on Facebook for rakkasan tea company that tells of Musashi showing up intentionally late for a duel with Kojiro (drinking tea and such for hours before arriving with a practice sword carved from an oar to infuriate him) and I hate to say it, that's the first thing that popped into my head this chapter when reading that the one Musashi wasn't arriving on time. I would have died laughing if she walked in with an obviously carved wooden sword...

That was my thought as well, the way the last chapter read was a bit confusing.

Thanks for the chapter! Pretty much hit on my complaint about those kinds of novels. They mostly follow the same formula, which obviously works, or else they wouldn't be repeating it so much. Still, it'd be nice to see something different out of the protagonists of those stories. Maybe an isekai'd overpowered protagonist who jumps straight into calling out entire enemy clans to save time since they know fighting them one by one from youngest to eldest is too tedious, and 'thou shalt not boolie the younger generation' never seems to work out in any of them.

Going to toss my vote towards 4-6 official wives + the occasional kunoichi or other future loyal retainers that make sense. Political marriages are expected, after all. Just because he's lewding several people doesn't mean it has to be the primary focus every time it happens, though the more notable scenes are nice to read about.

Is it bad I imagined the Imperial March theme from Star Wars when reading about how the castle of ice is slowly approaching?

I'm going to go with the second option. He already has first-hand experience with one goddess, so does he really want to involve a second divine being in his life? As for the breathing technique, there's nothing really wrong with it, but it's one of those things often used in cultivation stories. Easy, sure. Exciting, not at all. As a side note, the thought of Bard Nobu reminds me of one of my favorite FGO servants, Summer Nobu. I'm not biased at all, I swear!

Glad to hear you've got power again. The entire weather situation is horrible, and I wish the best for those caught up in it.

I think the current content is fine as long as there's also an equal amount of story progression. Getting the boundary stuff out of the way early is fine, but it is getting a bit grating by now. I think it's fine as long as it truly is out of the way, or at least brought up sparingly as needed in the future. The situation in-story is complicated thanks to Soar's physical age versus his mental age, and people should be confused and asking questions. That's the main problem with keeping secrets related to reincarnation and such without successfully hiding one's advanced abilities and knowledge.

Data Jahad seems to be so used to the world functioning as he expects or wills it that he can't possibly conceive of things going differently than those expectations. The man is creating plans based on the bastardization of Vahn and Fenrir and assumes that the real thing is comparable. The only question is, is his punishment going to come from Vahn, his frustrated women (since the copies they've been looking forward to dealing with got 'stolen' by Jahad,) or Fenrir, who I imagine is going to be even less pleased that her own copy is being claimed and intentionally frustrated by the fool. I'm also wondering if the real Jahad suffers from the same mentality, or if it's something he picked up due to living in a virtual world he effectively has/had god-like control over.

Heck, Vahn generally only resorts to killing when he's not able to find some other workable, better solution. Yes, some people just need to die, but that list is really not a large one when you have the sort of abilities and resources Vahn is able to throw around. Really, the only people he should feel any absolute need to kill are the ones who refuse to even attempt to be decent people even if he were to give them everything they require to live a decent life. He's not out to be the multiverse's god of murderhobos.
