it's more of the laws that govern their world. technically, Ye Sang is already an anomaly. She shouldn't be there. this is before they became villains. okie? this is them still struggling. technically, here Su Ye left all the riches and glory to play. if he didn't play along and let the enemy team win, his teammates would've taken the blow with him. he wasn't protected by his family, and he couldn't afford to pull his teammates who he considered his current family down with him. as far as I can remember many people in the gaming industry wanted to bring him down. he's kinda at the stage where being powerless in a way here is making him realize his villain potential. villains don't turn overnight, they're beaten down to the extent that they also question their values. to the extent that at some point they get tired questioning their values. until they conform to the darkness of the world. even he's disappointed in himself which is equal to being powerless has made me do bad things even to the teammates who trust me but that's the only way i can protect them and i can't even tell them why i made those decisions that disappointed them. that disappointed me. I really love Ye Sang not because she's cute. but she took it upon herself to salvage her daddies sanity and moral hope for the world. in a world where our own hands and feet can only reach so much, a little sweetness and humanity goes a long way. p. s. i usually don't mind if there is no male lead. but Shu's been living for a long time. like literally, a long time. like a reverse uno card done by the author where instead of an old male lead, it's an old female lead who never dies nor ages, and people who have... oh i can't go there (but u've seen this in the previous arcs. like literally some of the endings of the arc were literal Ming Shu life before meeting Harmony System). but she's been so alone, little beastie wasn't there before nor Qi Yu. and what the 🤬🤬🤬🤬 heavens???! (a partial reaction u'll have at the end) like, she wasn't the only one who did that!!!!!!!!!!!! 🤬🤬🤬 so how come!!!! ughhh

partial spoiler let's just say that her annihilating cities is because of a tragic backstory. and she's kinda literally OP because she made a deal with i dunno, if it was the heavens or the laws that govern what happens with humans (especially when it's because she kinda broke a balance in the human world), so she's kinda paying a price for something i forgot? and beastie I forgot, but the little pup is something else too. like, the author went with a happy ending but decided to add one last extra arc and it's ming shu's backstory. and it's a tear jerker 😭😭😭😭 oh no, imma cry like after making u happy, it makes u cry huhuhu as far as I know, the raws is like 1600+ something chapters. were really close. i was even trying to stop myself from going privilege cause i know the story anyways, but it's my baby Shu huhuhuhu. Qi Yu, you better love my baby forever huhuhu
