This type of father is the best to have his children hate him. To use his authority to condemn people with the reason of punishment and protecting family is no different from greedy people who uses their money, fame, and power to their own benefit. I just don't know why the dear author painted such charcter with such flaw...overprotected children will only be socially stunted and will always think they own the world as everything will be provided for them...such twisted creatures having tempered tantrums on their will...😮‍💨
