I hate mind control. I think it kills the story if used to obtain loyalty, manipulation, and such. It just leads to an uninteresting plot.

[Not only could you use mind power to control objects without touching them, but you can even modify the mind and will of others as long as their willpower is weaker than yours.]

Just keep writing, that is the most difficult part. You have good grammer too. Although I pointed out something I felt is a plot hole, don't be pressured to rewrite chapters or restart your book to fix things up. I believe that is a trap most new authors face. Most rewrites don't surpass the chapter number of the old one before quitting.

As the trainees came within shooting range, Ethan signaled General Magnus to command the fifty archers to release their arrows. The projectiles whizzed through the air, and though a few trainees managed to dodge them, they soon found themselves surrounded by flames. The Verdant Vale soldiers had prepared a trap, igniting the fields and creating chaos amidst the enemy ranks.

Let's say the 2 armies of these kingdoms fought until noon when Mc's father died. After defeat Mc's kingdom falls back to castle to defend. The enemy launches an attack without any delay because of the arrogance of the previous victory. Mc defends the walls until nighttime. Launches a night raid and uses fire to create chaos in enemy camp.

I can't think of anything that a medieval setting equivalent of petrol or something that can catch fire really quickly for a surprise effect. Even if there were I don't think there was any time to implement it since i believe it was after a disastrous defeat that ended with a fallen king. Simply relying on castle walls and taking advantage of an arrogant enemy would have been better in my opinion. If the castle walls weren't effective against trainees and apprentice knights they wouldn't bother building them.

No matter how dry, I can't see wheat catching fire fast enough to scare an army. It would take way more than that to cause an immediate fire like that.

He will not die but it will probably lead to a plot armor power-up, since they even bully him away from the kaiju he beat. It's just disappointing.

Gamera looked at the scene of the accident, not knowing what to do. He was shocked by the courage of the pilot and his accident. "Alright! I don't know why you want to take the Kaiju so hard, but I'm not going to kill you for lunch." He did not know if the pilot survived, but he did not want to repeat this situation. He had no intention of staying here any longer, so he went back to the ocean, the same way he had come.

It's more like 7 to 9 hours.

"Exercise, 30% training, 70% diet, and 10% sleep. There shouldn't be a problem with the exercise. After exercising, the values in brackets immediately increased, proving that exercise was effective in promoting one's attributes. My sleep was also fine; I slept from 10 pm to 7 am last night, which was healthy. So the only issue must be with my diet."

That is his "ultimate retreat". What you are suggesting would not only put his power needs outside of this "ultimate retreat", it also depends on there being relatively consistent sunlight.

A diesel generator, a lot of fuel, more compressed biscuits, canned food, and drinking water were enough to ensure that Lu Ming had food and water for more than three years! The independent sewer system, the independent water circulation system, the independent electricity system, and the ventilation system—this basement had cost Lu Ming 70% of his money.
