There's a huge range of health problems associated with premature birth and subsequent problems such as lung problems from being on a ventilator long term and infection with their under developed immune systems. Brain problems too such as cerebral palsy. Some people recover and some don't, its a lot to do with luck. At least at 28 weeks its kidneys should be working or close to.
