    Romance

People say you never forget your first love. It is your first experience with love and also the hardest to get over. It never leaves. Years passed, but he could not forget her. She who did not know of him, passed the days happily and idly. A proud young youth could not bear the embarrassment of being rejected and fled overseas. Years later, their paths cross again. Only this time, with they diverge again? A sweet story about first love and persistence. . . . When he was stood up, he felt like he had been slapped. His youthful pride had been shattered like that in an instant. He did not prepare himself for this kind of outcome at all. His first experience with love ended as a disappointment, spurring him to follow his parents wishes and study abroad. Years later, he once again saw the root cause of his celibacy. He thought he would be spiteful, embarrassed, but one glimpse only reignited his fire. What if he tried his hand at love just once more? . . . Him: If you want the world, I’d get it for you. Her: I don’t want the world, just buy me food. Him: ... Him: You’re so easy to raise. *chuckle* . . . Thank you to yaoyueyi for the lovely cover!

Moments

Why is the ML so rape-y and why are they so common. I find them EXTREMELY UNATTRACTIVE!! Honestly, they just make me want the FL to dump him and move on. Like, thank u, next. View More

XOMatsumaeohana: Honestly this guy has serious mental problems. He needs to see a doctor. Okay, so something happened and he had to protect her. There were other means he could have used.
• Locked her up elsewhere
• Sent her to another country
Before people blame the FL for acting this way, two years in prison isn't enough to get rid of what was it 12+ years of love?

It's a bit early to tell too much, but the story seems fresh and interesting.
A few mistakes here and there, but otherwise an enjoyable read.
It's a sweet story, but it is a little more slow-paced.
The writing style is ****** and keeps it interesting, however, I would probably choose a different way. View More

fantasy_land: This is your not your typical love story but with hints of comedy induced in it. Overall a light hearted romance.

The plot is good but yet to develop. As for the world design and character development, we have full of those here. The story progresses nicely as evident from 15 chapters published.

Well, if you are into different type of romance, this is very well your cup of tea!

niharikabhol: I have read few chapters but I must say your details are very precise. The way you depict characters and scene is really great. The story is yet to unfold for me but I am really liking it as it is a different story, set in a college backdrop.

One suggestion- too many characters in 1st chapter make it difficult to grasp who is who. But maybe that's just me.

Keep up the good work. Cheers !!!

Ishita23: Not your ideal romance story.. but still engrossing. Different is what makes it wanna read. The plot is good starting in a college romance and writing is also flawless, with a few minor glitches here & there. But the smooth flow of story make up for it.

If you are into youth love romance, then this is your cup of tea! Keep writing 👍

As of chapter 12
Writing Quality: 5 stars
Very mature and flawless writing, flows nicely, no grammatical mistakes.
Stability of Updating: 5 Stars
I’ll just assume.
Story Development: 4 Stars
I’m seeing the beginning of a plot, but it’s too early to see what it centers around. To me it seems like a coming of age story.
Character Design: 5 stars
We see realistic and flawed characters and that are pretty developed.
World Background: 5 stars
Not too much background, but it’s still in the early stages.
Pretty nice so far!

This is as of chapter 30.
Writing Quality: 5 stars
Nice writing, a few mistakes, but otherwise very compelling.
Stability of Updates: 5 stars
I don't know, but I'll just assume.
Story Development: 5 stars
Nice story, a bit cliche, progressive and moving storyline. It's not too fast or slow paced and has an interesting start. It's still in the early stage, so not much to go off of yet.
Character Design: 4 stars
Good introduction of each character, beginning to flesh out personalities, but the ML personality is really unrefined. So far I don't find any of the characters too likable, I think the whole love at first sight thing doesn't work for me.
World Background: 5 stars
Set in real world like Singapore and USA, not too specific exactly. Could elaborate a bit more but not enough to deduct. View More

Well, there isn’t too much Slice of Life and Japanese style, props for being original. Good luck on your novel! View More

StenDuring: Thanks! And yep, I might have started out the slice-of-lifey part too early (meaning slow as hell to read from the beginning), but at the other hand I'm afraid it would be a little like cheating if the story suddenly slowed down, and I REALLY wanted to write slice of life.

My first impressions are:
Clean and advanced writing.
Characters each have distinct personalities.
Well planned out plot line.
Beginning is a bit lackluster, I found it but difficult to continue reading.
Over all a cute story about Japanese students.
Slice of life: this is not a genre for for everyone, better for older audiences. View More

This is part of a review swap:
I read around 40 chapters and I think I have a pretty good idea...
Writing Quality: 4 Stars
There are some grammatical and spelling mistakes, but it's not the worst thing. There are often giant chunks of description that get a little tiring to read, but still, not that bad.
Stability of Updates: 5 stars
Not really sure how often you update, but it seems there are quite a lot of chapters.
Story Development: 5 stars
It's quite fast-paced with short chapters. From the beginning, the plot centers around an arranged marriage and drama between the leads and a jealous love rival and a dude from the underworld? Quite a few cliche plotlines. Not my cup of tea, but not enough to pull a star.
Character Design: 3 stars
The characters so far are quite 2D. There is some kind of sad background for the male lead (heartbreak) but many of the characters seem extremely cliche. Psycho jealous b*tch in love with ML, ******* ML with a girl he can't forget, CEO FL who falls way too fast, and families that want them to be together. I can't seem to like any of them, they're just too stereotypical.
World Background: 4 stars
I think the characters are Indian? They live in the modern area, there's a lot of description, but sometimes it takes away from the flow. Otherwise, it's unclear and there isn't a consistent setting? View More

StenDuring: This review is part of a review swap and valid as of chapter 15.

It looks like the beginning of a university romance, and a story about the entertainment industry. The balance act of keeping these two stories together as well as apart doesn't alway pan out even though the main character is the very bridge between the stories.

The main reason it feels a little disjointed is that the university part is very light hearted with lots of bantering between girls, a group date, the most popular boy in school, or in this case university, and all that. Basically a perfect setup for a romcom. Then we have a much darker story about actors, or at least the beginning of such a story.

I may be wrong, which I hope I am, and this contrast ends up working perfectly well, but as of chapter fifteen it doesn't.

With two stories for the price of one we have an abundance of characters. To be more exact there are characters strewn around in every corner, and more often than not there not enough space so you have more than one character in one corner. As of now there are more named characters than chapters, and it leaves me stunned with confusion.

Apart from non standard dialogue tags it's a very pleasant read. Sure, the story wavers a little between third person limited point of view and its omniscient counterpart, but there's not all that much head hopping.

When the story finally settles down and finds its own pace, let's say some twenty chapters down the line, we'll know for certain where this is going. We don't yet, because while fifteen chapters would normally see us past the beginning, when you have two stories we're still firmly in the beginning, and a few characters are effectively still being introduced.

Now for the stars.

Writing: Five stars. A few few glitches here and there, but not enough to yank a star.

Updates: Five stars. Fifteen chapters more or less mass updated.

Story: Four stars. Mostly because the two stories yet have to settle into one. Add that we're thrown dual sets of flashbacks and back story. I'm yanking a star due to the disruption this causes. However, each story flows perfectly well standing alone.

Character: Four stars. I'm swamped with names, humungous numbers of names, and they barely have a chance to get a personalitiy each. It's going to take a long time to flesh them all out. I believe they eventually will, but for now I'm yanking a star.

World: Four stars. The little there is is drowned in characters. It's not a lack of places, but they're just that -- places. A dorm room, a computer hardware store and an office. Oh, there's a somewhere where an audition is held, a nondescript outside of the university, and they go drinking somewhere. I'm tempted to yank two stars, but I'll settle for one. The setting definitely needs some work.

Lastly, since this is a pleasant read I suggest you give it a shot if you're into a romance with a huge cast of supporting cast. It could very well turn out a gem, and if not -- it was still a pleasant read to find out.

Anjiii: What a woman. Not in the good way, she's so damn jealous and greedy that I just wanna slap her with a sandwich. She's that villainess' friend that will backstab you if you look away and kiss up to the heroine~

Anjiii: I dunno, I never really talk about anything substantial, just my random thoughts on a novel~

It's new, there's not a lot of chapters yet to get fully engrossed into the plot of the novel. When it comes to characters, I can't really say. I don't have a full picture of them in my mind yet...just a general and a FL with some secret identity. Like a hitman? Assassin? Maybe gang-related?ヾ( •́д•̀ ;)ノ
Don't want to spoil anything...they dated in the past? A misunderstanding that has not been explained yet, just some bish trying to take what's not hers. There's a lot of names mentioned...so, I try not to remember them too much until they make an appearance. The easiest to remember are the codenames: seasons. Yay. Oh, and don't forget that there has to be a delusional girl. There is this really delusional girl in the novel who has been pampered since birth, who thinks that she's entitled to everything...like men. I think you know where I am heading with this~ Dunno if she's gonna be making an appearance often to make her important, but I hope not. I came across waaaaayy too many delusional women in the novels I find. (ᇂ_ᇂ|||)

Is this really a review? 😂 I apologize for my inability to write a fleshed-out review.
Good luck on your novel, I look forward to more. ‘٩꒰。•◡•。꒱۶’

FL do not deserve this kind of treatment!!!!!! She deserved better!!!!! I wish that FL file the divorce papers already and make him regret but FL is still strong, holding on, still waiting for him if their still a chance of him to change and I respect that but seriously I want this story to be tragic. You can't blame me though! That ML is a jerk!!! A cheater!! I wish FL meets someone who is one woman only and would protect, love our FL not that ML who is f*cking stupid!!!!
