This was a very fun read. The characters are unique, funny, and powerful and each add their own touch to the story’s plot. Enjoyed all the different plot twists, too.

Lisa also liked the taste of Artem’s blood. I wonder if they drank the blood of the wolves they killed and that’s why they smelled so foul.

The cut on my head had to have been the worst of them, it had bled a lot. The sticky blood that had trailed down my cheek to my neck had been caused by the gash from the ground during the roll. It had also been the place that Uncle Howard had placed his tongue against me and licked a trail up my cheek. He had seemed to enjoy the blood and had even stuck his tongue deep into the wound. Just remembering that made me want to shudder and gag.

I think Star is going to be super powerful in the future and Howie just had to have/control that power and that’s one of the reasons why he’s so desperate to have her. Yes, I think he’s a sicko too!!!!

Ok! I’m thinking that maybe when she changed back Howie saw a distinct mark that showed what/who she is meant to be in the future. That being the Luna Queen. Think about it. She’s mates to an Alpha, but even before she’s 18 her Luna powers are manifesting…that is why so many are starting to find their mates right now. It’s not just coincidence.

Maybe…it sounds plausible.

We walked silently as we made our way toward where Kent had secured our prisoner. With every step I took that brought me closer to that piece of trash I felt my nose wrinkle a little more. Her scent was so strong and so putrid that I honestly couldn't believe it. What the hell was wrong with those people? The only added benefit was that I could tell when they were near.

Yes it is!

Kent was a funny guy. He used jokes in a variety of situations. When he was in a good mood, when he was in a bad mood, when he felt vulnerable. They were his go to thing. He would crack a joke and make others smile so that they were happy like him or to hide what it was he was actually feeling. They were both his weapon and his shield. Sometimes it made it hard to know what Kent was really thinking, but I like to think I know him well enough that I could see through his mechanisms.

I’m really starting to wonder is there is more at work with their whole family and why they smell so bad…hmm…

"I can't believe someone with such a normal name was able to stink up my car like that. Seriously, I might need to burn the damn thing for insurance money if that stench doesn't come out of the trunk." I chuckled again.
