Power is a human passion. The problem is when power is purely uncontrollable, destructive and chaotic, at least for the narrative. See the story of godzila if it were to adapt textually it would have enormous challenges. The premise of this book is that if it were visual it would have many elements but few written;

A quality reflection is something very valuable to humanity. I always found it funny how the phenomena of optics took so long to advance. Ignorance perhaps linked magic and the power of the image, it's something interesting to explore even. Not in this book. You can replace a mirror with a magic box and it's the same.

It is a book about the desire to appear rich. A desire for ostentation. In the end there is no objective, the scenario is a generic way to concentrate young people without adults, I would be surprised if it surpassed 100 chapters.

I'm surprised you haven't seen it before. It's literally on my profile. You will be even more surprised if you keep reading my comments because there are other Brazilians on this site. In this world of 212 million Brazilians on the day of our bicentennial of independence, I a brazilian hope you have a good week. :)

Isn't this a plagiarism of the bible? I think I read that somewhere in my catechism. Did the guy really believe that no one would notice the plagiarism of overthrowing kings and bringing justice to the world?

In Brazil we have several jokes about this. You throw in information and wait for the butt of the joke to react. "Beware robbery!" There is shock and then the victim laughs or gets angry. And that's it. The author did this with zombies. There's no way this can go more than ten pages without being awful to read.

What an amazing world. Almost no land and boats are common. Since there is very little land, the boats should not be made of wood. They also shouldn't be made of concrete as it needs to burn the cement. Not even glass because you need to heat the sand to turn glass. Should it be made of bamboo? But with so little land to plant, they must have cut down all the bamboo. Incredible I haven't even started to read the book and I already found the first mystery.

I blame elementary school for books like this. They teach that an empire is a large land mass ruled by an emperor and people don't understand that this is a summary for children to understand the basic difference between monarchy and republic. It is expected that as an adult people will learn that it is much more complicated than that. The entire Roman empire is estimated to have had 60 million inhabitants at its height. Today there is more than that just in the Iberian Peninsula.
