Replied to Cmpaboy EQ isn't a person's ability to feel its a person's ability to, as the internet describes it "understand other people, what motivates them and how to work cooperatively with them" (Michael Akers & Grover Porter). So Harry doesn't necessarily have difficulty feeling emotions he just finds it hard to work with others and understand other people.
And finally magic wise- I started doing five homework's assignments at the same time with levitation magic and before bed I tire myself up by using the strongest and most harmless magic I know of- the Patronus charm, I can only create small fog for now but I'm working on it (plus the more you use magic the more magic you have).
