Protector looked at Lith in surprise. He knew that Lith was able to breathe fire, but he had no idea they were something that precious.

Indeed. I really wish it was possible for the author to employ an editor to go back through the book from the beginning. Even a single pass could resolve most of the mistakes and would vastly improve the quality of the book.

Fair point about Jirni not bringing it up. However I don't think she knows about awakening. While its possible she does I think her character works better not actually knowing. That being said she probably does sort of know about Nalaer's abilities and I'm sure she's heard or seen about the 'royal magic' from her job but I'm not sure if she's put two and two together and even if she has I doubt she knows the bulk of it. Although she likely has the edge of the secret.

I guess it depends on how many died from techniques he got them to try as an experiment. Not to mention that it sounds more like he was feeding them the normal stuff and them stealing all their best techniques. Still you have a point that his actions are not completely one sided but he certainly doesn't do it out of altruism.

Little did they know that he was just using them as guinea pigs for his theories about mana cores and that the only reason he founded them was to have access to their research.

Also Lith plays the odds and knows he's not a begins. Considering there is only one person in history who was rumoured to have obtained white there is no way he would make white core his only option even if he had heard of it by this stage.

'It was much easier for me to accept his nature. Back then, we were still together and I think I was in love with him like a teenage girl can be. After seeing so many people die during Nalear's attack, after losing Yurial, I would have accepted Lith even if he was a five-headed dragon.

There is a continuity error here because later when Lith has his first sit down with Faluel Ryman claims he didn't know they were origin flames.

"Maybe you know them as Origin Flames. You know, the fire you breathe from your mouth? Not everyone can use them, which makes them special."

I thought the spell was called Final Sunset. Aut b or needs togo back through the novel and fix some of the spellings errors an inconsistencies. The worst part is a simple spell check should have caught the majority. It bugs me too since this is my favourite novel on here.

The two elements were fused together, allowing the dark energies to move at a speed that would otherwise be impossible. Setting Sun was a perfect offense and defense that would stay up until all of its mana was exhausted, but Lith didn't plan to use it for long.

This chapter really made me laugh. The bald eagle country is a histerical way to describe the US. God knows why they didn't just say it. Also China complaining about the US leaving backdoors in chips is a serious case of the pot calling the kettle black. ** I'm not American for those who want to claim bias.

I dunno I maybe it does. Remember most attacks on a human would deal Wakayama more damage that required in this game. if a swordsman attacks once and hits but that attack decapitated the opponent in terms of damage dealt it would be waaay more that the HP of most humans. A troll on the other hand might not die from such a wound immediately. and if the head is brought back quickly they may survive with their healing factor.

With Roland's current exaggerated amount of health, it was almost comparable to that of a troll of the same level, but without the troll's powerful regeneration ability.

Is it just me or does using a specialisation to get +1 to intelligence seem like a complete waste of a specialisation. The other ones allow Roland to not use magic materials and to regenerate mana at an incredible rate.

The foolish Menadion had never revoked her privileges, so the Raiju had no problems getting inside the tower nor slaughtering all of Menadion's precious apprentices, even her so-called successor that she had spent so much time and effort preparing.

I can see the hints and parallels that point to it being Manohar but I just don't think its him. Their personalities seem too different.

Wow. That just came out of nowhere. you just know Solus will see her and a bunch of memories and knowledge will bubble up.

It was a technique that even Master Menadion admired and that Bytra had brought to the next level after she had stolen Menadion's Fury, the legendary Forgemastering hammer.

if I remember right the air molecules slow down the electrons.

I felt my that my body became somewhat lighter, thunder was sound, and the speed of sound was as high as 343 m/s, so such an improvement was somewhat expected. Yet, if speed was to be mentioned, the one which would be mentioned would be light!
