Eh think of it like insurance and Anthony while not at fault is the one who did the majority of the damage Anthony is a “Risk Factor” so they’re raising the premium to discourage a behaviour they don’t want to see

This would be true but only if they were ALREADY importing various goods and materials from Colony sourced mines and manufactories which means they lose nothing by not trading with the colony as no trade exists however a city of that size being embargoed by the most competitive traders in the world would achieve the same thing so Erans threat is very real as it includes not just the minerals they use for their second skin but food and tools that they don’t grow and make themselves

Hmm not quite they er on the side of caution I have no doubt that the legion once attempted to use monsters to fight the waves and each time it likely went bad they don’t know that Anthony has become “the ancient” with his soul crystal stuff and they’re probably immune however if they knew about it they’d probably be even more likely to kill them

If that was true then then supplying extra mana during his system run “upgrades” wouldn’t do anything but you can also see the system actively sucking in more mana at the end of the second upgrade since nova couldn’t supply enough and system can’t produce it
