what i really like about this story is how natural the characters progress for example (spoiler) when yue yue gets her memories back about how her parents died, her character and how she thinks, talks and behaves changes from this point forward. i mean that not in a negative way you can just feel how much sadder and somber she is in her interactions with others and how much more mature and wise she becomes. i especially love how its a huge change, but it doesnt feel that way as the author just wrote it perfectly. the first time i read the book it didnt even cross my mind until halway through the book😂but the more times i read it, it became clear that she never got over the tragedy that happened in her past life and that she became less cheerful and less of a free spirit and much more determined. I really like how the author captured her emotion and how they got portrayed. (btw sry for my english non native speaker here🤗)
