Here is my third iteration of my proposal 1/3 The Flame of Live AUXO class Capital Ship Size 7 (this ship is massive, dwarfing most other 2nd class capital ships) Defense 1 (this ship should not currently be exposed to combat) Mobility 1 (this ship is currently extremely slow) Production 1 (this currently has little in the way of production lines) Story: this ship is all that is left of a 1st rate state’s research into growth ships. It was abandoned due to the cost of production, and this proof of concept was the only ship of the proposed AUXO class built. Purpose: this ship is a growth oriented ship. While currently weak in many aspects, Unlike most other capital ships this vessel can theoretically be upgraded indefinitely due to its unique property’s. Design: as a prototype the flame of life possesses several unique features/ design aspects. 1st. Smart metal incorporation: this ship was designed and built with an 80/20 ratio of normal metal and smart metal. This allows it to incorporate foreign upgrades with remarkable ease, and due smart metals unique properties it can also be modified with extreme quickness. 1A: smart metal cont. The smart metal is mostly present in the ships internal systems/structure. Some hard points exist that gives the material access to the hull of the vessel but these are in hidden points Evenly distributed around the hull. 2nd. Size: This ship is massive, nearing battle ship size. Most of this space is deliberately left barren. This is due to its focus on long term growth. 3: upgradability: With its aforementioned size and smart metal incorporation. The majority of the inside space of the ship can be re configured in a moments notice. This allows the possibility of sprawling habitation blocs, agri farms, mech hangers, production lines, barracks, and even city configurations. 2/3 4. Overall structure structure. This vessel is currently in a 1km rectangular shape with a bridge in the center of the vessel. The vessel has an internal skeleton and spine that spans the entirety of the ship, providing support to each section of the outer hull. As well as support for any pre programmed building configuration. Inside this skeleton runs the majority of the smart metal in the ship that allows quick modification/repairs to any section of the ship as well as the hull. 5 skeleton cont As previously mentioned the internal skeleton functions to support the ship and provide the smart metal easy access to any part of the vessel. Synopsis: the flame of life possesses theoretically infinite internal customization and modulability due to its size and smart metal technology. It can incorporate any upgrade imaginable and re configure at a blistering speed compared to other vessels of its class. It’s main drawback is it’s requirement of a long term investment. As it is now it is outperformed by any other ore built vessel. But decades or even centuries down the line none of these other ships will be able to hold a candle to the flame of life. 3/3 Creators note) This ship was made to be the corner stone of a nomad fleet. It possesses the size and capability to fill any need given time. And what ves needs is something that he will be able to upgrade and modify a his clan grows in power. This ship meets that requirement, and as long as it’s not entirely destroyed it can potentially recover from any damage or setback. Smart metal and the devil tiger: The reason I chose smart metal to be this ships trick is because of ves’s experience with it and his first masterwork the devil tiger. The devil tiger can grow indefinitely as long as it it’s not completely destroyed, making it his first true living mech. This is the absolute manifestation of ves’s design philosophy, and so what better ship is there for a designer of life and growth than a ship that can live and grow. 2 long term implementation that ves could do with this ship give it the growth program if he gave the devil tige
