I'm kinda confused why berengar wouldn't just invade japan now when he knows he not only has years of advancement on Itami but also like hundreds of thousands of more people in his military instead he's planning and preparing to fight her years down the line when she can catch up and prepare better to fight him for someone who is supposed to be smart he is being super dumb by letting such a huge threat get stronger

I'm sorry but if that actually works I will be very disappointed in the author because Itami has been said multiple times that she is pretty much as intelligent as berengar and that is such stupid plot to fall for especially since that ming dynasty prince pretty much did something similar but smarter than that and still she easily caught on to it

this whole thing with the catholic church is starting to get really old and not to mention they would never be able to come even remotely as advanced as they are this fast even if they stole his weapons and other tech to reverse engineer they are still way to behind to make the parts it would take them decades to do so.
