I remember back when you can find books where the MC wasn't a a**hole, overpowered, and/or had a system

Currently caught up to chapter 435 and my review will cover what I've read so far. To start off this is the first story I've read since I've come back to web novel after around 2 years. I really like the characters that you've made. Each of them are interesting and convincing so that I can keep track of them even if they haven't had screentime in a hot minute (note that this was me binging the story). I like the moral compass of the MC and I can understand why he is the main character of the story. A lot of things he does I wouldn't agree with if he was a real person but that adds to the charm of him as he's fictional. The world building is good and I can see you setting things up for future arc's. That being said, I do have one criticism and that is scale. When you write about large armies, it feels like it's not 100,000 people but instead maybe 1,000. 100,000 is a shit load of people. hell, 10,000 is a crowd that would warrant police to come and help direct traffic. For reference, the Michigan football stadium is said to hold around 100,000 people and the largest stadium in the world, "the Great Strahov stadium" is able to hold a whopping 250,000 people. That is more than the current population of the capital of the state of Virginia. And this is in modern times. The Belgian city of Antwerp had an estimated population of 100,000 during the year 1560 and that was considered to be the trading hub until Amsterdam took that spot. I will give credit where it's due and say that the characters understand that that was a huge number. However, when the MC talked with the army, my brain scaled it down to like 3,000 people so that I can imagine the army hearing him. Granted, it could be assumed that only the front rows heard him and responded as such, but the lack of words made it hard to explain the scope of people following him. an example of how you could handle this is like "As Sylvester started singing, the front of the crowd immediately kneeled, the scent of worship washing towards him. As more people noticed, they also kneel down worshiping. Until the entire crowd of 100,000 people were on the ground, the scent of worship bombarding him with extreme force as his nose scrunched with the unexpected force of the smell."

Watching a so-called "singer", dressed in a ridiculous gaudy costume and looking like neither a woman or a man, stand there shrieking and howling was annoying.
