Practically (if not relating to practicality) is used in the same way as “nearly”. For example, a student being so well versed in a topic that they are nearly a teacher, or “practically a teacher”. In this case, using practically wouldn’t be appropriate since Billy is their classmate. A better alternative is using “More or less” since although having the same use as “practically” it can also undermine the extent of what is being described about the subject. Since they are trying to undermine Billy’s authority as a teacher, they would say Billy is “more or less their classmate”.

Burning all of that inside a cave would be a choking hazard. The MC might have skills to deal with it, but the goblins do not and would suffocate if there is nowhere for the smoke to vent since burning something requires oxygen. Unless the goblins don’t rely on oxygen but co2 or even methane in which case cleaning the feces might actually starve them of air supply.

All they had to do was gather the feces to a secluded area and burn them.
