i completely agree! it's a good prologue! it just needs a bit of intrigue to being in the readers, and also keep them there. by all means, keep it the same, it works regardless, and won't take away from the story in the slightest :)

I gave it a read. for something that is before the story, I believe it gives too much away, maybe hide kirin's name, to add some mystery to the prologue and let the readers piece it together, maybe get the demon king to call him some sort of title, something like half-breed, or maestro or something like that, other than that, it was written very well :D
