Three body problem is the first book of the trilogy - Remembrance of Earth's Past by Cixin Liu. A literary masterpiece. The three body here represents the three body people known as the Trisolarans who are an alien species that inhabit a planet located within a chaotic star system a couple of light years away from Earth. The three body here also has a secondary significance which is a direct reference to the three body problem which states that when three bodies have intwined into each others gravitaional fields, their future is impossible to predict. No function can be defined that accurately predicts their motion unless you have their exact initial velocities, hence it is called a chaotic system. Therefore the Trisolarans periodically get wiped out and there's nothing they can do to stop it. Any technological advancements have to be rebuilt from scratch slowing down their technological evolution enormously. Within the books, the Trisolarans have begun their plans of invading earth but they're located several light years away, and the time required for their space fleet to reach Earth would be around 400 years. So they send supercomputers called 'Sophons' to planet Earth. These Sophons are actually protons. Idk how protons can act as a supercomputer but they are. Therefore they could be accelerated near light speed. So they were first entangled with an identical proton. And the entangled proton was sent to earth. Now any computation that was performed on earth will reflect on the entangled version of it which they kept with themselves. This Sophon can monitor everything on planet Earth. It can also manipulate human perception. So the goal of the Trisolarans is to halt humanities technological evolution for 400 years, until they reach Earth so that wiping out Earth would be easy. The Trisolaran species has another quirk. They cannot lie. And the entire species is essentially a giant hivemind that communicates through thought. Anyway, even if Trisolarans can monitor everything and skew experimental results, they cannot read the human mind. Therefore the Wallfacer Project came into existence. The Wallfacer is a person who forms an ellaborate plan within his own mind to counter the Trisolarans. And when the time comes, he rapidly executes, before the Trisolarans can understand the plan and counteract it. Three Humans were given the privilege of being Wallfacers. The entire world will have to listen to them when told to do so, no matter how absurd the action may sound. These people are called the 'Wallfacers'.

Yeah but children need to see to learn. I bet maybe one in their community died to serve as a lesson for the others.

If anyone, for any reason, uttered something akin to The Sentence, Nurse Alice would arrive and end their life.

Show rather than tell bro. This is writing basics.

Though, they never knew the young man they had just ignored would bring a lot of trouble to them….

thats the point. There are so many candidates for extras. The majority of them lie at the avg mark. It is far more likely to get into an avg extra than any extreme one. It feels like a forced event due to this.

Then, why was this gut a villain? It was pretty simple. Because Astron was someone that was also at the bottom of the academy and stayed as weak as he was, he was envious of the main character's achievements and would later sell his soul to demons and would become a Djinn.

This is all brain dead. Whats the point of living for hundred + years if he's such a rookie that he can't hide from a child who learnt ring making a couple days ago and magic a couple days ago too. What utter trash is this. You're making it seem like everyone is a joke. 100+ years worthless? sooo stupid I can barely stand it.

Nick had sensed the old wizard the moment he showed up thanks to his sensitivity to magic , and Dumbledore was like a fucking lighthouse with the amount of the stuff he was letting off passively. The old man's disillusionment charm was totally useless against Nick and in truth merely made him a bit more vicious in his retaliation when Sanar reacted to the old mans attempt at probing his mind. The automatic defense merely tears apart the magic probe normally but Nick instead used it to send a repeating memory of the worst experience the old goat ever had.-

This is brain dead. Why does he have the ability to make jewelry? That makes no sense. This is a very suspicious point.

The orphanage was quite lively when Dumbledore arrived near it as all the children and caretakers were smothering harry with positive attention. 'I suppose this will serve as a good way to get him used to the fame he'll have next year.' the old wizard thought in amusement as he watched Harry struggle to cope with being the center of attention. The headmaster of course went through Harry's memories of Nick as well and he was happy with what he found. 'What a good fellow! He even knows how to make jewelry and has been nothing but kind to Harry.' The old wizard thought appreciatively.-

But he did the forging with his soul, not body?

"Had trouble getting to sleep at a decent time?" she asked concerned. Nick rubbed his eyes and yawned still a bit tired but to an unbearable degree. "Nothing to worry about miss smith I'll be okay in a bit." Nick said before yawning again. The woman didn't look convinced but apparently decided to trust him and left after telling him to wash up and get ready for school since he missed breakfast. Nick stood up and stretched causing his joints to pop pleasantly even though the muscles in his body all ached and were sore from the forging the night before.-

Kinda stupid how people hate that. It adds a layer of complexity to his personality. Being just a good guy is not interesting tbh. Situations are never as simple as mc defeats bad guy and all good. Everything has a cost. What are you willing to sacrifice? especially when given a choice. A choice where anything you pick will lead to a sacrifice. Maybe between two loved ones? a loved one and your future? this reveals true character. Hope nobody is 1d here.

Thanks to the fact that it was also heavily implied that the man used legilimency , which was literal mind manipulation and reading , Nick knew all it would take was for the old goat to put the thoughts of distancing himself from Harry into his head to get his way. 'Jokes on him I plan to fix this problem tonight with my smithing.' Nick thought with a chuckle as he imagined the ugly expression the old wizard might make failing to break into his mind. Sure Nick knew that Dumbledore was a good guy , but he wouldn't forget that the man was a literal war veteran who knew how to make evil acts for the greater good.-

How is this relevant to the paragraph which states that he was found in a putrid alley with trash stewn everywhere.

It all started on the night of March 2 1990 which was the birthday of the orphan he found himself in. "Urg! Why the fuck do I hurt all over?" Nick muttered as he opened his eyes groggily seemingly right after going to sleep only to freeze when he didn't recognize his surroundings. He found himself in a putrid alley with trash strewn all around him and brown brick walls on either side of him.-
