I personally feel like that stalker was more of an assassin than a regular guy. Even before we learnt of MC's military background, the thought of the stalker killing him despite never getting rejected in the first place, not trying his luck in the first place and even more strange is how the stalker had cold and emotionless eyes when professing his love. It didn't sound like the stalker was truly in love, it instead felt like the stalker was actually tryna get him to let down his guard the whole time he showed up around him rather than stalk him.

It's not that unrealistic. In a place where people still think sanely? sure, this would be impossible. in a shallow ASF society where people see being the weak as better off dead? This is sure to happen. (This is gonna be long so .. TL/dr: I'm simply saying the impact on showing rather than telling on a story is significant) The story isn't excessive, it's only feeling that way cause the author does alot of telling than showing. If he showed instead of told then I bet you'd feel more for the mc, after all the Is a difference between 1) Her parents loved her sister so much that they never cared for nor remembered her until when it was time for her to donate her blood to the sister. Her living conditions were horrible, only eating once a day and yet her parents would call her to start coming to the hospital to donate blood not caring whether she was weak or hungry or if she had to walk there. and 2) After heating up the leftovers from the past night, she went to take a shower and get ready to go to the hospital as her mother had called her to start coming for the the routine weekly blood donation. Coming out of the bathroom she reflexively rubbed her growling stomach, then lifted her head to look at the wall clock. 2:18pm. It was soon time for the 3pm donation so hurriedly got dressed and picked up the previously heated food from the stove to go sit her old weak mattress. Maybe because she had been trying her best to be manage on food, this rice which she had been reheating for the past 6days now had an odd taste to it, but she had no choice but to force it down. 2:53pm She sighed in relief when she saw the time displayed on the clock in her sister's room. She had to walk slowly due to lack of energy from always eating so little. Her sister smiled and beckoned her to sit, that the nurse would be here soon. She nodded and smiled back. Sitting across her sister, this scene was never one she could get used to, the broken angel was what her sister was and it wasn't an exaggeration. A child so beautiful and yet so sickly, but at least she was loved. She was so loved that her parents had to birth another child for her sake. As she left after the procedure, she sighted the woman whom she called Mom coming down the hallway. So she slowed down her steps hoping that her mother would see the state of her or maybe even realize that she was malnourished and ask her of her body to get to know her situation. This never happened, the woman passed her by without a second look after receiving her greeting.

Gustav got the free lunch from the counter which was located at the far end. Hardly was anyone seen, taking food from here.

It's not too exaggerated, you just can't relate cause you come from a loving home, as such you can't imagine how bad people can be. I have an aunt who treats one of her kids like rags on the street, he's used to be stubborn kid when he was small, back then he accidentally caused hot oil to drop on his little bro while they were playing in the kitchen. Fortunately there's no permanent scars due to quick action taken and all they did to help the little one recover but since then she's hated the boy. There are times when he is starved for 2-3days in a row for minor offenses (he's not even 11yrs old yet). He looks smaller than his age due to malnutrition, she will allow the younger kids to have seconds but doesn't allow him and sometimes being hungry he has to resort to stealing food in his own parents house but not always being successful he ends up with horrible injuries from beatings. Their father usually defends him or confronts her but there are times that he doesn't just for peace to reign. Unfortunately, the mom also lies about him to the dad along with the younger kids falsifying stories leading to the dad also punishing him or simply let the abuse happen with the belief that the boy is always doing wrong when that's not the truth. Sure the mc of this story sleeps in a bathtub but that kid doesn't sleep in the same room as his siblings, he sleeps on a weak old mattress in the room that's used as a closet. When they go to parties or events they never take him along, only rarely does he follow along to outings on celebration holidays. It hurts to the bone that whenever I see that boy it's rare to not find an injury on him. There are horrible people in the world not deserving of having children, the sufferinh of the mc in this story doesn't seem exaggerated to me because I've seen worse in many different homes. Hated by everyone trope is honestly the only slightly unrealistic thing here but even that isn't too far fetched cause even I wasn't too far from such at a point in my life. I experienced that from family, "friends", teachers and classmates for over 5yrs in my childhood. It can't be everyone that hated me but it felt the way because those who didn't hate me either ignored me or used me.

He never ate from home except during the weekends, where he would eat the scraps from his mother and brother's meals.

That's cause in those stories, the power system was different. This story we haven't yet seen anything relating such kind of power system, but those stories the Mc is usually a swordsman who avoids int because he has no intention to be a mage. This story however is about bloodline and if there's anything I understand, if int means mana then it will make his bloodline stronger... if int means knowledge absorbtion and quicker understanding it means he will be able to quickly Learn methods to grow his power...

I mean idk but it's just weird, especially since this person was an assassin before, he made an unnecessarily risky move like you can love and trust a person without saying literally every secret of yours as it's unneeded especially when you're still weak. it would've made sense if he had gotten stronger first but him being weak will only make him all the more vulnerable now that all his cards have the spread for display to someone he just met btw. In the end tho, it don't matter cause author can just swoosh a wind of devotion and loyalty into axel so we can already predict that yeah mc is safe and it's all cool cause author is in control👌
