Ruffling her hair a bit, Vahn left the dining room and made his way toward Hestia before frowning deeply and looking toward the front gate. Though he didn't know their purpose, Vahn felt like the arrival of the signatures was related to his instincts from the previous day. It seemed that, every time Vahn felt happy, something bad would always rear its head to create problems for him. After discussing it with Sis, he found out it was actually a property of having high good karma. She claimed that the reason so many heroic tales ended in tragedy was that heroes acquired a lot of good karma which inevitably brought added troubles to them when they least expected it. For better or worse, good and evil were almost irresistibly drawn toward each other in some vain struggle machinated by fate.

I look to my magic bar to see that I'm at [MP: 109/114]. I could literally shoot him one-hundred and nine more times, which would definitely do more than enough to bring him down. If I can do a little bit less than one hundred damage with only five magic points, I can imagine what I could do with one hundred magic points, and the idea makes me giddy.

Fortunately, I manage to turn it over onto its back. The Chicken God still lays unconscious, so I decide to take out one of my health potions, and I weakly try to uncork the bottle. I'm able to remove the cork from the bottle, and I drop it on the ground. I don't know why this one came with the top while the first one did not, but I don't dwell on it as I struggle to move the now uncorked health potion to the Chicken's beak.

When both of them turn into motes of light, I enter the room only to hear a synchronized battle cry of, "CLUCK CLUCK CLUCK!" Each chicken voiced their cheer as they started to bang on the cells. I once again go around releasing each and every chicken from captivity. When the room is cleared, all that is left is the corpses of several chickens. I'm unsure why they did not turn into motes of light like everything else, but I don't dwell on it for too long.

Besides the "Attributes Tab," there is also a tab called "Exaltations," and that one is even more confusing than the last. I can't even begin to explain the first part of it, as most things I can see just have a shadowy, elusive figure of something. Some of them look like bottles, while others look like 3 sided rectangles with curved tops.

"HUNTERS ON ME!!!" A voice yelled out just as loudly as the Wyverns' own. It was Velk's grandfather. "DRINK YOUR COOL DRINKS AND USE FIREPROOF MANTLES." His voice was booming. Everyone within the village could catch it even over the thunder and rain. It wasn't overbearing, like the wyvern's, but it did get the point across.
