Depends really. Even if you had the opportunity, how long would you enjoy it until the you just can't. Immortality makes you an outsider to basically everyone. Would you still try to befriend the people around you. Even then you'll outlived them all and have to see them age and rot away. I'm not trying to be philosophical here but life is a pattern of cause and effect. Given enough time you'll be able to see the pattern and when that happen would you still care about the things thats going on around you.

Less exposition and more storytelling is what I'm hoping for. It's like being forced fed information most of the time and not a lot of what reading a story should be. Slow the story if need be to create an actual character. Like the way you did the dialogue though.
