Hey there! I appreciate the criticism! It's appreciated and noted! First of all, I know that my world-building is really weak in this novel, and I really do have the tendency to focus on rather trivial matters, but I have a hard time suddenly switching the tone that I developed for this novel, so I'm not sure if it's really going to change at any point within this. At least not suddenly, I might develop things a bit more into this direction as time goes on, though. I was definitely already aware of these things. (Also, with the Devil-Town Arc at the start, that was me still trying to find the way I wanted to write this novel, and for that part I ended up going with the Shonen-Anime trope of "Wherever the MC goes, some high-tier crazy sh*t is going down", which probably wasn't the best choice. Still kind of doing that in the later chapters, but I feel like it's lesser than during that whole arc) And also, since there are a few things you seemed interested in that I wanted to clear up, here we go: 1. The number of the Royal Monsters is the same as the number of cards of the Major Arcana there are. Each Royal Monster corresponds to one card of the Tarot's Major Arcana, hence there are 22 of them. I thought I made that clear enough, but I guess not! Maybe I'll go back and try to add a specific explanation for that in one of the earlier chapters! 2. While the evolutionary path of the MC certainly is unique, 'Unique' doesn't necessarily mean 'Overpowered'. Obviously, to an extent, Eiro is overpowered as hell, but it's not because of his evolutions directly but because of the powers he built around them. 3. The 'good' and 'bad' sides have a rough power-balance, but that balance only exists because of the existence of the Hero in that world. 4. What the Cards really are is a thing that not even the people of the world there know, just that it came from the 'Arcane Dealer'. What they are will be explained at some point, but it's an important part of the plot and it can't just be randomly explained at any point, so sorry about that! 5. 'The World', the royal whose card Eiro got, was sealed in a special place where nobody was able to even find out that this royal was sealed there, not even other royals. So of course, Noble Monsters wouldn't know it either. In conclusion... Trust me, I'm more aware of all these plotholes and mistakes than anyone else, and I hope to be able to go through the whole novel at some point and edit it to make a lot of things make a lot more sense and simply make it better, but at this point in time that is simply not a viable option. Just know that a few of the things that you complained about are things that I am working on fixing and resolving. For example, I want to focus more on Eiro's different abilities, I want to show more really strong characters that show that Eiro isn't a completely overwhelmingly OP entity in this world yet, and I want to possibly try to get into a direction where I can properly show of this world and the creatures that live in it, as I've already been trying to do a little bit more lately. Again, thanks for the criticism! I hope you won't discard this novel completely yet, though! :D

Hm, interesting, I actually didn't know about that condition. I watched a video about the last remaining real Ninja in japan, and he was able to dislocate his shoulders at will because he trained to do so

"That's fine, isn't it? You seem like a masochist anyway. But well... Usually, the biggest benefit is when it comes to things like... escaping after being tied up, or squeezing through thin gaps you usally couldn't get through." James explained, "I did know someone that used it directly in combat, though."

Just trying something new, but I probably won't stick with this, yeah

Slash! Stab! Hack! The puppet swung the daggers at the Demon. Eiro defended these somewhat easily, as he was already used to the puppet's combat. It seemed a lot more agile and dexterous than before, though, so Eiro was wondering if it was hiding something from him. Just as he thought that, the puppet stabbed forward again, right at Eiro's face.
