I decided to ignore Gero as he would make 18 who she was even though it would be hard on her, I wouldn't have to train her and worry about her being too weak if he didn't make her an android. Her becoming an android gave her infinite amounts of energy never being exhausted while also increasing her power level above normal super Saiyans level.
