That's because the cloud corrupted the speakers. With the corruption, the speakers send out a mangled audio single that wreaks havoc with the sensitive signal of the bomb collars, causing the collar to randomly activate a bunch of its functions; which includes the boom.

Dean nods, "I have no idea what purpose they serve... Back in the day they were used for announcements and such, but now they only play that single signal that'll blow my head off." he says, making sure not to mention the fact that his collar was disarmed.

Sadly I don't know anything about the Warhammer universe. If I'm going to write a fanfic, I personally would like it to be a series/franchise/work that I already know.

What do you all think? I have some ideas for multiple different fanfics (Harry Potter, Pokemon Diamond/Pearl/Platinum, Sims 3, Doom, Fairy Tail, etc.) and two more original stories (A dungeon building/kingdom slice of life; and a Pokemon inspired, but not Pokemon, story).

That could actually be very interesting. I'm already thinking of what would happen if a dungeon core/master appeared in the world's of Pokemon, Harry Potter, Fairy Tail, etc. I don't know if my writing skills could be up to the task to write a story like that, but I'm always willing to try.

I agree that most Pokemon Fanfics can fall under that description. I find that most I try to read get pretty boring and predictable fast. Even then, I would like to try my hands on one. I'm thinking of the fourth generation since it's personally my favourite set of games and not many Sinnoh based fanfics are out there (their usually Kanto).

Yeah, DOOM the video game series. When I was playing Doom (2016) a few days ago, I thought "What would happen if a regular everyday citizen one day woke up in the Doom Slayers body and had to fight through the waves of demons on the Mars base?".

I just checked, and the Firebolt was released/was in the broom store's window during the summer before Harry's third year. When he ran from the Dursley's, took the Night Bus and went to the Leaky cauldron for the rest of the summer, Harry periodically stared at the broom through the window in awe whenever he passed by.

Nimbus 2001 was one of the best brooms on the market and expensive. The twins were sensitive about money but Art said that he wouldn't get them a gift next year and should just take it.

That isn't the first spell they learn; they learn the levitating spell near the end of October. If I remember correctly, the first spell you would learn at the beginning of first year is the lighting and de-lighting charms.

As the class began Professor Flitwick introduced himself in front of everyone, he quickly did a review of the course and the regular class began, the incantation to begin would be Wingardium Leviosa the levitatory spell, a simple incantation in the eyes of many.

Jayson stored some items away into one of the lockers from his pip-boy; feeling some slight weight being lifted off of him as he did so. Some stuff he stored away was the Tunnel Snake outfit from Benny, his Vault 101 Jumpsuit he wore when he first arrived in this world, a Vault 101 Utility Jumpsuit he got from his bedroom in the Vault, the BB gun, .32 Pistol and a bunch of other stuff such as different kinds of junk and miscellaneous items he picked up so far.

Some survivors of Vault 22 escaped to Zion and eventually turned into spore carriers there. So, yeah... not completely eradicated yet.

"No further movement detected, good job." Nyx breaks him from his thoughts, making him realise that he was still in a cave that leads to a burning canyon passage... Hopefully it wouldn't last too long, otherwise he might be stuck here for a while. At least now he could send robots in to fully clear up the fungus. This should be the end of it now that he thinks about it, unless some government facility still has samples hidden away somewhere... In which case he'd need to destroy them before it can spread.

Actually, in Fallout 1, there's a unique random encounter you can get . It's of finding a pristine blue police box in the middle of the wastes and if you get close, it'll fade away and vanish. So either the Doctor exists in the Fallout world or he accidentally ended up there and promptly booked it out.

"Er, what's that?" he asks, wondering if doctor who was something that existed in the Fallout universe... "A sonic-screwdriver?" a tentatively asks, hoping to get some sort of reaction from the scientist.

Yeah, I know what ya mean. Getting over or breaking addiction is really hard. Jayson didn't really get rid of his addiction though, he just convinced him to try to change through a tough conversation. I could've written more about the process but I myself don't really have much experience with this kind of stuff. Sorry bout that.

Bringing up his family really hit it home and Jayson was able to convince Leo to quit Jet and to tell his family about his problem. Leo also gave him the key to his secret Jet stash in the Water Treatment Plant and told him to get rid of it. He said that Jayson could do whatever he wanted with it since he convinced him, in his own words, "how much of an ass he was".
