Catching up and still have some to do but I'm looking forward to where the overall story goes. I did want to give some feedback from a readers standpoint though. Maybe most of this is just me and not others. While these two have their own interesting story or backstory, it doesn't really seem relevant at all at this point in the story or plot. It seems so far removed from the premise of the story and what happened in the beginning that it seems really out of place and kind of not needed right now. Especially with how many chapters it's been. I get introducing a character or characters that will be more relevant later like some of Alexis' backstory but he was already mentioned previously and also seems to have a big part later as likely being the guy in Georgi's visions/dreams. It also was fairly short, especially compared to this. From the previous future these 2 seem to be completely irrelevant aside from 1 being in the Black Hawks previously and then setting up future regulations for the military. It's seems like a full side story is being told when it should be more of a backstory for the military. This full side story doesn't seem to have any bearing on where things are at so far and doesn't seem to lend much to it aside from world building where it isn't really necessary. This does seem like an important story to include to you but I'm not sure if this is the place for it as a reader. It kind of takes you out of immersing in the story and the actual characters the story was initially about, especially so early in the book. Again these are just my thoughts, maybe it's just me. I do look forward to where this goes and I can tell you put quite a bit into building up things in this world.

I was thinking Bai Georgi likely wasn't a bad person and I'm glad I was right. I'm also happy he finds Claire annoying, I don't think her plan will work. Unless the parents get very invested...
