Why is this stupid narrative being used? It makes no sense for them to doubt Max when he killed gods and dragons while being tier 5 or less.

Lol, shore? Considering everything up to now, he is on a insanely disproportional beach to his actual size. Maybe the statue represents a 'regular sized' adult to the previous inhabitants, and he is actually at the size of an ant, meaning he ain't even a little bit close to the actual ocean and all kind of creatures he's seeing are small animals we use to catch and play on the shore as kids.

I think that Kai should have at least one, while Tsunade gets the other. I believe that none of them would be able to enjoy the eye's benefits whilehaving both. You could make so that by getting an eye, Kai unlocks a skill tree related to nature chakra and time/space jutsus and some sort of less chakra wastage by using it. Rinnegan is too cool to not be in his hands, same thing with Tenseigan.

And any theories of what might happen if Tsunade, or let's Mikoto or Kushina do pop in one of these bad boys? (Rinnegan.)

I think that Six Path Sage, its chakra and the truth seeking balls are more of a fundamental way of Chakra manipulation. Just as the name implies, they who have it all are merely someone wise in the way of 'paths', alongside with their thirst of knowledge in what is not yet uncovered regarding chakra, thus, "truth seeking". We can understand nature transformation as a rudimentar and divided way of the six paths package, meaning that, acquiring the transformation alongside the spheres are merely the starting point for something new that no one has ever researched, such as complete mastery over the four fundamental universal forces (gravity, electromagnetism, strong and weak forces), or something along the line... The power system Kishimoto created is very free in the creativity aspect, so I think you can do whatever you want without having inconsistencies whatsoever.

Do note that since this is AU, I will try to shift things more than just events. For instance, Sage of Six Paths chakra is op and the truth-seeking balls are op so they may just be the result of 100℅ mastery or otherwise, are the requirement to reach 100℅ mastery in the nature transformation but I haven't solidified the idea yet so do give me suggestions.
