Well......I may have been a little harsh there considering there are so many novels out there that have a lame excuse of a human being as the ML who literally gets away with all the damage he has done just for the sake of emphasizing the 'purity' and 'the saintly nature' of the MC. I didn't mean to chide you in any way. I just have high expectations from this novel and I'm hoping I would come to realize why the MC reacts to the situations the way she does and of course, start empathizing with her, viewing her as a realistic character that has her own flaws and demons. Anyway, Keep up the good work!

In essence, it is but give and take , only in this case, it is more subconscious . Why else would people 'expect' support and love from their friends then? Just because the expected intake is emotional, it doesn't in any way lessen the transactional quality of relationships. When you remove any one of the constants, what you are left with are the so-called toxic relationships. Humans are supposed to be this way. Idg why people make such big deals about freiendships and such. Smh
