An ok novel, slightly better than other "choice" novels but not that good either. The MC's introspection on how money is affecting his mind is interesting and fresh but other than that it's boring. He doesn't even go out of his way to try and trigger more choices (only briefly tries for like a day with very limited efforts and no results, and then just gives up). The MC is not really to my liking, while he has good self-awareness, he is not smart and is very lazy (not a good combo). Initially it was ok but now the MC is getting free cars and villas again for no reason. It's becoming like other bad "choice" novels. It's totally pointless. I'd have preferred it if the MC got things like skills or talents, better yet improved potential from the choices, and then put some effort to be successful. Rather than just having money, cars and villas fall from the sky onto his worthless ass. There are some more problems as well, lot of Chinese poems and jokes that don't really make sense when translated to English. Especially the poems which I doubt any English reader is going to understand or appreciate. Another point of concern is in the beginning it's mentioned twice that the MC lived till 25 (previous life) without ever touching a girl's hand. But later when they decide to go to get prostitutes in the hotel, it says the MC is not a virgin and had a girlfriend in his previous life. Completely contradictory. Last issue is the plot is a little vague, it's not clear if he wants something or doesn't (again I feel like this was Chinese humour that got lost in translation) but then it's revealed he did want it in the next chapter. Very confusing for English readers, story lacks transparency. Despite all these flaws, it's still the second best novel in this trail group which is just sad. It's an ok timepass that you will eventually get tired of. Instead I'd recommend "Immortal in the Magic World", easily the best novel in this group and an actual good read!
