Jus7aguy: Yes. I'm rather well read. Just from your obvious attitude it was easy to make some basic assumptions about your own level of comprehension. You do know that for the first 20 years of my life the internet basically didn't exist right? Webnovels were not a thing till a fair bit after that. Anime was not readily available in my country till the late 90s. Prior to that we had *gasp* books, and libraries, and encyclopedias, and cinemas and VHS tapes. We immersed ourselves in Poe, Wilde, Tolkien, Tolstoy, Pierce, Gemmel, Shakespeare, Orwell, Asimov, Salinger, Joyce, Hemingway, Eddings (unfortunately), Lee, London, as well as well as the more wry Pratchett and Gaiman. Those are just the ones off the top of my head. Meanwhile the point that just because YOU are aware of a cliche, thanks to exposure to modern media. Does not mean that the cliche does not happen, and that the character themselves has to be aware of it.

Does he have to find a few siblings to train on mind magic and politics to prepare for the priest crazy talk (and how to avoid him) and for getting actual associated project between the ants and the humans ?
