The imagination, the execution, the wit… It’s genius. The only author on here I will ever bother to read. I’ve read all of the author’s previous works, and with his last novel, I declared myself a fan for life, and here I am again, still a fan, and now even more so. I don’t know where you’ve been this last year Nick… Were you training in the mountains with the monks? Whatever you’ve done, it’s worth it. I look at the first chapter of this and I compare it to Roman Academy and I just couldn’t believe it. You’ve improved again. Now, for the story itself… Nick likens it to One-Punch man, but I think that degrades this novel, for it’s entirely unique. The author crafts an entirely new world for us, brick by brick. His imagination is simply fantastic, from the very first scene right through to the present, and it manages to be extremely funny as well. Though, due to the author’s previous work in Roman Academy, I have expectations that there will be some heart-felt philosophy engrained in here as well. I have seen glimpses of it already, but I crave for more! I can’t wait to see what you have in store. What’s special about this novel is the craftmanship of the characters, even more so than the beautiful crafting of the world. Every single ‘side’ character we have could easily be the main character of their own novel. It blows my mind that he’s able to pull that off. Like, the twist of necromancy was not something I expected… not at all, but I absolutely love it. I’m dying for more of this. It’s an absolute masterpiece. The releases are regular and daily, but the author is incredibly sensible with the way he does it. He’s made sure that he’s given himself enough time to ensure that each chapter is quality. For that reason, I see this novel blossoming into a titan. This is exactly the sort of thing that should be top of this website. I hope to see it there one day. Please continue as you are doing, Nick, you’re doing amazing. I’m sure you’ll get all the fame and fortune you deserve soon enough! Don’t give up!
