I really don't understand why Author chose MC's weapon to be a Scythe if he's refusing to treat it as a Scythe. Special Forged heavy version is literally the opposite of a Scythe, if you wanted heavy you should have just gone with a heavy weapon, or just go with a sword. So his old scythe was a Mist weapon despite being made with Core Formation material, so it should've been extra heavy already, now he's getting a Scythe that's twice as heavy. The fact that he felt that it was heavy is just so wrong. So what if his body strength is great, he should still have a light Scythe, not a heavy one. My guess is Author picked a Scythe because it looks cool but then wanted MC to have a heavy weapon because he cultivates his body, stupid. This is the same problem when every author makes their MCs do everything. A Jack of All Trades, Master of None. Dual cultivation is "impossible" - np, our MC will do it anyway. Our MC uses a light agile and sharp weapon, but let's make it heavy too because our MC is physically strong, that way his scythe will just deal more dmg... What almost every single author fails to realize is that the coolest MCs are those who master's a single thing to perfection. In novels where people comprehend the Dao, the Dao is often described as limitless, no matter how far you go there's still more to comprehend. So if he splits his focus into doing 100 different things, he should never be able to reach the heights of anything, and I'm just so disappointed that there's never any novels like that. And MC enters a Lightning Sect while seemingly being the only one to have a Lightning Body, not only that but he also has a special body type, and not only that but their grade is so high they couldn't even estimate its level, and still there's nobody wanting to take him as their Direct Disciple at this point? That just doesn't make sense.

I would like to point out that I'm abit surprised that John isn't just straight up one-shotting all of his opponents at this point. I'm about to read chapter 85 as I read it but I feel like Dylan is and Jason is implied to either come from the Holy Land or has some connection there (spent time there, got some techniques from there etc) - but even if this is the case, our MC is cultivating a supreme Body Cultivation technique that is most likely on a level far higher than anything the Holy Land has access to, while at the same time his body cultivation is at the same level as Dylan. So in the same way Dylan was casually sending his opponents flying out of the arena in previous matches, John should have been able to do so even easier just relying on the strength of his body. Even Dylan should stand no chance considering the level of his body - otherwise it's implying that body cultivation is weaker than Qi cultivation. And also I find it funny how the other part of Yuan Continent is called The Holy Land when it's literally 90% of the continent, it's more that their barren part should be called the Barren Lands. Holy Lands should be small parts of the continent that has an abnormal amount of Qi due to some reason, like a spirit vein in other novels or the corpse of an expert or great beast. I was initially very disappointed with the Scythe weapon, still am, hoping that the battles using a Scythe will be described with elegance rather than the current brute force heavy style that isn't at all suited to a Scythe, it would have been better to go with a Heavy Staff, Polearm, Spear or Hammer type weapon in that case. But other than the choice of weapon I am excited about the lightning cultivation technique that will turn his body into a lightning body (I believe and hope). This is rarely//never used on the MC so I'm hoping that will happen and that there will be alot of lightning abilities for movement, ranged attacks and melee attacks. Just a bit disappointed that it wasn't cultivated at the same time as the Body Technique, people will be suspicious if he suddenly randomly awakens another special body type. Gonna get back to reading now and hope that in the end John dealt with Dylan fairly easily, if the battle is tough even with John going all out then I hope you'll work on your powerscaling.
