In fact, in the last year and a half I have been very occupied finishing up my studies as well as looking for a job (which I've successfuly landed by the way). I don't think I will be continuing this story anymore, since it requires a lot of work to keep up with the pace. Writing is still one of my dear hobbies but I can't really release daily or weekly anymore. For that reason, I think I will focus on different stories in my backlog for as long as they are not finished. Maybe one of these days Project Overworld will get its long awaited continuation, but I can't be so sure about it (especially since I realized how many chapters I'd have to update and rewrite on this website). I'm sorry about that but I'm currently rewriting most of my work and there should be a lot of inconsistencies. Chapter 27 isn't yet rewritten so that's where your confusion is coming from.
