This hasn’t been explained but the death lord had the blacksmith combine some of the holy power imbued in the flask she took to create healing spells for the seal. It’s also why it does holy type damage. That said, Seth solar did have a healing factor but not anything too special. His dad has a faster one that lets him heal a broken arm in a few hours or so as well

It’s a good way to disable him for a while but it wouldn’t kill him. He can come back from full body disintegration, so for all intents and purposes, he really is invincible. Magical instant death effects or a way to disable his power completely are the only ways to effectively deal with him

Ye I understand where you’re coming from, this setup is mostly to introduce surprise elements that will lead into much bigger and more consistently present things throughout the story. Once the initial surprise of encountering them is gone it should be more about planning how they’re dealt with
